I love The Onion.  What's so sad is it is just a credible as most any other news source.

Speaking of stupid shit that doesn't work?  My damn PS3 has started taking days off.  It just won't come on.  All the lights are twinkling and it's making a happy humming sound, but nothing shows on the screen. 

Later the same day it will work again. 

No apparent rhyme or reason.
