Auburn's A-Day: Officially presented by the Navy

Auburn's A-Day Game has a sponsor. Your United States Navy has grabbed the naming rights for the game.
Officially, you'll be attending A-Day, Presented by the U.S. Navy. Consider it the way of the sports world.

The game is April 18 at 1 p.m. and five bucks get you in.

Auburn will be busy before then, of course. The Tigers will hold their first scrimmage of the spring Saturday morning in Jordan-Hare Stadium. But, sorry, that one is closed to the public and media.

For your planning purposes, and while we're talking about A-Day, here are all the details, Presented by The Gold Mine, about the weekend.

(Actually, much of the following is copied and pasted from an Auburn PR release emailed Friday:)

Tickets for A-Day are $5 and can be purchased online at autickets.com or at the Auburn Ticket Office located at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Online ordering will be available until April 10th, as all ticket orders will be mailed by that date. After April 10th, tickets will be available for purchase in person at the ticket office or on game day at the stadium. Game day sales will be cash/check only.

Nope no TV,  and no one will care.
Goddamn it it makes me sick to think of that punk walking the sidelines like he is doing anything but butt raping Auburn.
The darkness is starting to fall on the plains.

You fucking bammer. Your just laughing your fool head off at the attitude of the so called Auburn supporters who haven't got the balls to stand up and kick this bum to the curb. C'mon come out of the closet. Put on your Crimson #1 jersey and be proud of what you are. Because you damn sure are NOT an Auburn man.

The only jersey number allowed to be worn now is #8.  The great julio said so.

That doesn't change the fact that it is on TV. You were wrong.

Back on track. Rumors are circulating that the Navy will be sponsoring a contest at halftime. They are going to rig a guy dressed like a Somali pirate, using the same kind of wiring ESPN uses for the overhead camera. Three lucky contestants will be selected at random and given paintball guns. From the 50-yard line, they will have 5 shots to nail the bobbing pirate. The one that scores the most hits will get to sit beside Steve in the scholarship donor section at the Louisiana Tech game.

TIFWIW.

Now that would probably elicit applications from ROTC candidates form all over the world. I would love to see it. The MSM would rip us a new one, but the military community would idolize us.
