I just got around to looking at this post...fucking hilarious!

That's perfect for The ONE.

My mother voted for Obama. It was the first time she has ever voted Democrat. I made sure to tell her how stupid she was when she voted, and I reminded her of that the other day when I asked her what she thought of "your boy" fucking us seven ways from Sunday for the next 10 years. I still stand by my vote for Ralph Nader. I don't think McCain had the right answers, and Obama sure as fuck doesn't.

You need to respect your mother regardless of how she voted.  :poke:

Ralph Nader is as big a fucking moron as The ONE and the godless socialists.  McCain didn't have all of the right answers (and I was plenty critical of him on this board) but he would have been a damn sight more pragmatic about this economic shit-uation (and the gubment's role in it) than anyone else on the 2008 ticket.

What we really needed was the business acumen of someone with real world experience like Mitt Romney or even Rudy Giuliani; but Romney was torpedoed by the bigotry of Huckabee and Giuliani fucked up his campaign by focusing on Florida (ignoring all of the earlier primaries).

Now we're stuck with The ONE.

Trust me, we would have been even more fucked with Ralph Nader, however, since I voted for neither Obama nor McCain it gives me bitching rights on face value.  :)

I was actually hoping Giuliani would win nomination. I figured if he ran his campaign right he would be a shoo-in. I still cannot believe how much more incredibly fucked we become as each day passes.

Fair enough, RWS.

I supported McCain but he was NOT my first, second, or third choice for the Republican Party candidate.  And I will never support a Democrat godless socialist.

Ditto. He was the lesser of the two evils nominated, imo.

 :bs:
Bullshit!  There are limits.  Just because she's his mother doesn't mean he shouldn't bitch-slap her into next year.  I have no tolerance for shit like that.

I suppose that sarcasm is lost when typed; I had thought that the smiley in my original text might help.  Apparently I inadvertently touched a nerve with you, GarMan.

I truly believe Bob Barr had that distinction.

Yeah... because the "business acumen" of the United States have done such a swell job as of late.

'Swell' as in Leave it to Beaver lingo?

Not really but someone who's been working in the real world is much better than a career, leftist college professor or a slimy lawyer (The ONE and Bob Barr, respectively).

*Edit: no offense to other lawyers is intended.

No, but he does have the distinction of being a slimy, opportunistic piece-of-shit.  I know this because he used to be my congressman.  And just because he had an "R" after his name at the time does NOT indicate that he got my support.

By the way, I think that Romney has bragging rights of turning around several companies (Bain & Company and Bain Capital), turning the 2002 Winter Olympics from the disaster it could have been (under corrupt managment) to the success that it was; and creating a budget surplus as Governor of Massachusetts (to name but one fiscally responsible thing that he did while in that post).

Barr (and that bigot Huckabee) cannot even touch his record and I think he would have made a great president...far better than the godless socialist that we have now.

Based on the tone of your criticism; yes, I suppose when you compare the capitalist system that we have now to the socialist system that The ONE and his cronies are setting up things will be much better.  (That's meant to be sarcasm.)

Thought that I'd also add (since he's supposedly a libertarian now because the Republican party saw him for what he was and rejected him) that he's also a hypocrite on abortion, a hypocrite on the War in Iraq, a hypocrite on the Patriot Act, and a inconsistent hypocrite on legalizing controlled substances (including schedule 1 drugs like pot and heroin)...in addition to being a self-important, opportunistic, slimy piece-of-shit.
