I just woke up and my TV was on MSNBC and they were talking about the intense tornadoes in Auburn, AL destroying buildings and flipping cars over and shit.
WTF?
Google news has nothing I can find...
-
Some student on another board said one hit on college street and 280, ripped the roof of a small building and flipped some cars but nothing huge.

Prelude to tomorrows Auburn snowball fight?

Yeah I live downtown and we got tons of thunder and lightning...Glenn flooded from all the rain for a little while.
Thankfully the tornado touched down about 4 miles from downtown at 280 and College St. like tiger88 mentioned. It took the roof off of the Antique Mall that is on 280 near the rodeo arena. A couple of cars were overturned in the parking lot of the car dealership in that area.
There are also reports of a touch down near Chewacla and Tuskeegee Forrest. We are pretty lucky it skipped right over the actual city cause that could have ended very badly.
