"Benton said Friday, he has done all that the NCAA required of him and is waiting for final word from the clearinghouse"
"Benton, who is 21 years old, said his No. 1 goal at Auburn will be to get a degree. He said dreams of playing in the NFL can wait. “If that happens, it happens,” Benton said. “I want to get my degree.” Asked what sets him apart as a player, Benton said “I just love to block and love to make plays.”
That's awesome that he wants his degree first, then on to the NFL. Plus, I love hearing of the love to block coming from a WR.

That does sound good, but we'll see what he says if they start waiving an NFL contract in front of his eyes before he gets a degree (and that's a pretty good sized "if"). Grain of salt, and all that.

So he's waiting on the NCAA Clearinghouse. Well, I'm pumped as hell about the 2012 season.
-
I'm waiting on his getting cleared too. Aparently the dumbest coach to ever win a national championship had given up on him being cleared though.

Yeah, right.
That's when the world ends.
If you're in a New Years Bowl in 2011, mebbe. After that its a mute point.

Wrong.

Wrong.
Right... Miles gave him 2 tries to get the grades and then kicked him to the curb. Thank God Fuckhead and company signed him. He still hasn't played the first down of football for us yet.

Or made it to class.
