Title: Tuberville on ESPN
Post by: Townhallsavoy on January 31, 2009, 05:14:32 PM
He just said he would like to get back into coaching, and he'd very much like to coach in the Pac-10 conference.

What a pussy.

Yeah, that Tuberville is known for his wide open, high octane offenses.  I think the PAC 10 would be a perfect fit.

Works for me. It will be weird to have to have him on the other sideline.

It's like your ex girlfriend moving somewhere you know you will never have to run into her.

I think it's more like an ex girlfriend hanging out with the dorks and nerds just because it's easier to find dates.

He is commentating during NSD for ESPN and ESPNU as well.

Say what you will, but I will miss him and wish him well.  I don't think I could ever root against him unless he coaches at bammer or his team is playing Auburn.

Good thing CTT really has nothing to prove to you townhall. I am sure he worries about what you think of him as he wonders what to do with his several million $$$ that the school is paying him?

Seems like he had already gone into semi-retirement the last few years at AU, so a move near the beach would seem to fit.

I wish him well wherever he goes.

Ain't no beaches in Arkansas. He'll wind up in the duck woods.
Not a bad place to be in the winter months if you like that sort of things.

If Cal fires Coach Tedford and they haven't named a HCIW by that time, I think Cal would fit Coach Tuberville perfectly....They're kind of laid back, beautiful campus, and the stadium was built in a strawberry field, hence the name the "Strawberry Canyon".  I know that most people haven't heard that moniker, but that's what they call it.

I just don't understand why he would get anything that resembles a lateral move.

I'm not gonna lie, I would like to learn who that female in your avatar is.

He is commentating during NSD for ESPN and ESPNU as well.

I can't wait to hear the insight he has.  Should be some interesting commentary.  I am being serious here.
