Not sure I would want to work for the AD at Boston College. Now you can understand why coaches always tell lies when they are thinking about interviewing for other jobs.

That's fucked up. Oh well, its not like he'll be standing in the welfare line though.

Have you ever gone to your current employer and said "hey I'll be gone the rest of the afternoon, got another interview for a better job".

Actually I have. The only part I left out was "better"
But I never said I was disagreeing with you. I was just being humorous. I was just pointing out from the beginning that he was warned, is the AD still a prick not sure don't know him. However if someone tells me not to stick my hand in an oven or I'll get burned and I still do it and get burned its my own dumbass fault.

His contract with BC specifically said that interviewing with someone else was a breach of contract. Can't get much more simple than that. He signed the contract - he knew the terms.
-
O'well, he knew, he was warned, every radio and tv sports outlet in America was talking about how it was in his contract that he couldn't interview. It was his own fault that he got fired, but I don't blame him either, if I am coaching college and the NFL comes calling, I am going to entertain the idea and at least hear what they have to offer.
