Title: The Big XII needs to STFU and GTFO
Post by: Townhallsavoy on January 02, 2009, 06:00:12 PM: I had buddies of mine saying that Ole Miss had no shot. They wouldn't be able to hang with Texas Tech's offense. Ole Miss didn't have a secondary. Their offense would struggle against the new and improved Red Raider defense.

47-34. Didn't Texas Tech have a small argument for the NC? Weren't they part of the Big XII equation?

Wasn't Oklahoma St another big time team from the Big XII? Losing to Oregon?

They aren't ENTIRELY overrated like the Big 10, but all that Big XII hype is quickly losing its steam. Considering the fact that Oklahoma is facing an SEC champion, it doesn't look good for their future 2008 overall bowl record.

The K-Mart shopping plaza is next to it though and with these lean economic times, plenty of empty parking spaces are available that can easily be converted into a sizable pitch for whatever feat of strength is chosen. We have food gobbling, cow pie throwing, goat wrestling, and quilting. I am qualified to officiate all these events.
