"The BCS national championship has nothing on the Rose Bowl.  The tradition and the matchup make it a better bowl every year.  Both Penn St and USC could just as easily be playing in Miami in place of Florida or Oklahoma.  What gets me is that USC played just as tough a schedule  :blink: as Florida did down the stretch, but for some reason, Florida got the spot ahead of USC and held on to it.  I'm not sure if the voters got that right, but I guess we've got to go with what we got."

Not the exact-exact quote, but this is what an ESPN commentator just said.  What a douche.

Not only would the best team be crowned by EARNING it on the field...we would also cut out about 75% of the douchebaggery from the talking heads.
