Title: Rumor about CTT staying in some other capacity
Post by: Ranger12 on December 03, 2008, 07:46:48 PM: Anybody hearing this rumor? That would go along with the rumor of him resigning as the football coach and why all the secret squirrel stuff the last couple of days.

Maybe they fired Jacobs and hired CTT as AD. Now excuse me while I wake up from my dream.

When questions from the recruits where about CTT staying, the Coaches that were being asked said that he (CTT) was definately staying. Think that's what they were getting at? Either way, I think it'd be a Damn good move/Smart move on the Gouge's part. Does he have the mental capacity to do such a move? Would TPTB accept that move? Would one of the most Fickle fanbase, in sports, like that move?

I don't see tubs being interested in that. When I heard he resigned I assumed they worked out some sort of deal with him to help compensate for his buyout.

To keep tubs on as some sort of recruiting/fund raising/compliance officer/ad/whatever is awesome! To be honest his past hires make me a bit nervous about him being ad. Couldnt do worse than jacobs though.
