Title: Ten things I'm thankful for
Post by: Kaos on November 26, 2008, 10:19:25 PM
#10.  I'm thankful for George Petrie, Cliff Hare, Shug Jordan, Lee Haley and the old Auburn guard who helped define and refine what it means to be an Auburn man.

#9. I'm thankful that I live in a country so free and successful that I can afford to care so passionately about something so ultimately insignificant as a football game.

#8. I'm thankful that I was raised in an Auburn family and taught from an early age how an Auburn fan was expected to behave.

#7. I'm thankful to whoever realized how to harness electricity, because that singular invention has -- pardon the pun -- powered practically everything that made this great society from manufacturing to music to refrigeration to the Internet.

#6. I'm thankful for the medicine that lowers my cholesterol, the medicine that settled my acid reflux and all the other medicines that help us all get along.

#5. I'm thankful for farms.

#4. I'm thankful for the Constitution and the rule of law that keeps people like Obama from ever really taking over like they would if given the chance.  Checks, balances and all that.

#3. I'm thankful for Bo Jackson, Pat Dye, Randy Campbell, Lionel James, and all the other members of the 1982 Auburn team for restoring the football world to its rightful place and breaking the yoke of oppression that had bound us for so long.

#2. I'm thankful for the friends I know and also the ones I don't.  Yeah, you stupid fucks I'm including some of you in that.

#1. I'm thankful for my awesome kids and my beautiful wife, particularly my wife who loves me in spite of everything -- and who thankfully has no idea who Raven Riley is.

I am thankful for a lot of things - I am a blessed man. I have my health, a family that puts up with me, good friends, and an incredible job with a company that treats its employees like they're assets. Fuck you Honda!

I am thankful for Al Gore, because if it were not for his wonderful invention, I could not waste a little time each day with a bunch of assholes like you all. Fuck you , Al, for the horse shit global warming fleece job you pulled on the gullible.

I am thankful for people like Randall and Adam, who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. I understand what you do and at what cost, and I thank you for doing it. Fuck you Osama and the rest of your (censored) headed followers.

I am thankful that human genitalia was put exactly where it is and not someplace awkward .... like attached to the side of the face.

I am thankful that no matter how horrible the season has gone, true Auburn people still say with pride "War Eagle." Fuck all you memorabilia hiding for 6 years, dragging it out only when your team is successful, bandwagon fucktards I pass each and every day on I-20. Even Alabama deserves better than you as fans.

10.  No major hurricane damage to our house.

9.  A good job with a stable company.

8.  The .38 that lives under my side of the bed and the right to use it if necessary.

7.  You lovable gooberheads that saw fit to invite me to join your little website.

6.  The fact that I am no longer associated with AUN in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

5.  Being an American, because living in this country on a shitty day is far far better than living anywhere else on a good day...

4.  Living in Texas, because living in this state on a shitty day is far far better than living in California or New York on a good day...

3.  Being an Auburn fan, because being an Auburn fan during a shitty season is still far far far better than being a bammer fan at any time and under any circumstances.

2.  Auburn football, yesterday, today and forever.

1.  My wonderful husband, who loves me more than I deserve, and my two kids, whom I love more than I ever imagined, and the good Lord for making them a part of my life.

I am thankful for the

<checks watch>

now 44 hour-long squirt-fest that has been coming out of my ass as a result of my overeating during Thanksgiving dinner.

I am most thankful for God, family and friends.
I am able to be thankful for these things because of the sacrifices folks like my Grandfather, Randall, Adam, PCT, Ranger and others have made to keep us free.  So, I am grateful for their sacrifices.

I am also thankful that my father was wise enough to see just how obnoxious the bammer fan base was and raise me as an Auburn fan.

I am thankful that my son and my wife put up with me (especially during football season).

I am thankful that I have a good somewhat secure career during these crazy financial times.

But most of all, I am thankful for big ole titties.
