Title: Thorne's Shoulder - Could this be it?
Post by: The Six on November 11, 2024, 01:17:44 PM
Peyton Thorne didn't practice last week due to a shoulder injury sustained against Vanderbilt. One wonders if this opens the door for a return of Hank against the floundering ULM...whatever they are calling themselves now.

HF was making reference to the "big picture" when discussing this topic.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I'll say it again.  He should have been playing HB or White for quite a while now.  There are no guarantees on getting a difference maker at QB this off season, meaning we could go into next year with very little experience in that room.

I know WT, before he perished from AIDS of the rectal region, had you chalked up as a dumbass. I am fairly certain he even had it engraved on his Headstone.

If only he could see you now. He’d at least have added “sometimes” on there.

God rest his AIDS ridden rectal-region soul.

Someone remind me how many games a player can participate in before burning a redshirt as a Freshman?
Can that same someone or someone else also remind me how many games are left in the season?

The mentally deficient Beaver says Thorne is good to go!

Remain calm and score one TD.

It's ULM. We can score three TDs this game.

Freeze is causing me to have bad thoughts. I might need a break from following our team. He infuriates me.

I know we scored on 4 of 5 possessions in the first half but when asked if any of the other QBs would see action he acted as if the game was still in the balance and wouldn't say.

To be fair, the defense promptly allowed them to go drown and score.

This gave us more time with our beloved Thorne…

Maybe we should go take over the Sun Belt. We seem built to beat up on those teams. Maybe the ACC? That league sucks.

Oh, we’d take a few up the shaft in the All Crap Conference but we’d be in the mix. Whereas in the $EC we are fighting  Mississippi State and Kentucky to avoid the cellar.

I'm more in favor of a hostile takeover of the program than simply suck seeding from the almighty SEC. Wonder what that might look like in today's cfb landscape? It's been done before with Bill Oliver being installed before season's end. And while the chosen defacto leader was a crackerjack secondary coach and strategist, he was merely a temporary place holder for the Tommy Tuberville era. I'm probably gonna regret this.

Brantley doesn’t have the backing or know how to pull off this like he did with the Primrose deal.

Auburn opens as a 5 point underdog at home per Fanduel. Coach Hugh Freeze is playing his cards close to his smock as to whether or not Payton Thorne (day to day) will once again be thrust into the starter role while nursing an injured shoulder.
