Title: Did any one else notice something odd during the Kentucky/Vandy game?
Post by: AUTailgatingRules on November 17, 2008, 01:42:05 PM
Kentucky was using their starting QB to return punts.  Am I the only one that thinks that is kind of odd?

I guess they were putting their talented playmakers on the field.  i don't know if I woulda done the same, but hey... they're the ones getting paid the big bucks.

He came to KY as a wide out, but Hartline wasn't working out after they kicked a dude off the team right before the season started. They gave Cobb the chance since he played QB in high school, and he isn't too shabby. He returned punts earlier in the season too, and since he is probably the best athlete on the team, they kept him there.

Yes, I noticed that too.  Did you see where the UK fan threw a cup at the Vandy receiver that had scored.  It hit the camera man instead of the player.  I wish that when a fan does something like this, that the player it was thrown at would just go up in the stands and beat the shit out of the asshole that threw it.  That would be fucking hilarious.

Why not?  When Joe Theisman was a rookie with the Washington Indigenous Peoples he returned punts for a 10.5 yd average.

Did you learn how to spell that in English Comp 101 at the fucking Crapstone?

I see you are putting that degree from UA-Tuscaloosa to good use.
