No links yet, but Tray Blackmon is no longer part of the Auburn football team.
Apparently, after his injury, he decided that he was going to enter the draft in the spring. Therefore, he had no more reasons to attend class. Even if he changed his mind about the NFL, he would probably have a tough time getting eligible.

Is this for sure? Last I saw was that it was just a rumor that somebody first started over in Rivals.
If it is true, then he has gotten some real bad advice and has made another bad choice, like the one he made that got him suspended before. Why would he think having an injury during his junior year make him desirable by the NFL? Actually to this point, his college career has not been exactly something that would get somebody drafted real high or maybe not even drafted at all. He was 3rd Team All-SEC last year.

A friend of a friend of a friend told me.
I'm not completely sure it's true, but a buddy of mine said that Blackmon wasn't showing up to the class they had together. He thought that the injury was worse than reported which was sidelining him from not only football but also class. Then, he ran into him at a party....
Also, there has been speculation about him heading to the doghouse because he hasn't been doing anything with the team. That's a fact and was also hinted at by Bryan Matthews FWIW.
The real rumor part is that he's leaving for the NFL. I don't know where that originated. I agree that it's a stupid move. Besides a few electric plays and a lot of hype, how productive has he really been at Auburn?

I have also heard rumors about him not showing up at classes. My cousin is a sophomore at AU and a couple of weekends ago when he came home, he was giving me the scuttlebutt among students about certain things going on with the program. Blackmon not being in classes was one of them. Franklin showing up at coaches meetings and the practice field, with the smell of alcohol on him was another one.
Blackmon has barely played two seasons worth of college football while never playing a whole season (played in 21 games in 3 seasons of eligibility), been hurt this year and last year, and has averaged just 4 tackles a game in his college career. Yet, somebody has convinced him to quit school and the team, forgoing his senior year to turn pro? Genius.

He's gonna be a star in the League.
Canadian Football League, that is...

...or the Arena Football League.

Is NFL Europe still hiring?
