LSU really sucks. That's all I can say. Three times this year they've made teams that have no business looking outstanding throwing the ball look like world-beaters. Why? They lost everything that was good on that defense and, yes Virginia, COVID protocols screwing up the off season made it impossible to install anything new or useful on defense. They got one guy worth half a damn back there covering people and even he can't do it all.
Auburn's defense played lights out yesterday, no doubt. Need to see that again and again and again. Hats off to them for dismantling LSU's frosh QB who looks like JaMarcus Russell at the buffet table.
Coach's Son is still a petulant brat who yells at his OC on the sidelines. Tank is the MAN and should be fed more even though that means he'll probably get run in the ground before the season is over with. Speaking of which, how many more weeks of this horse hockey are left? I'm ready for some roundball.

Id say maybe worse.....Chiz was smart, Chiz could coach D....his hubris was his downfall. He believed his own hype....that team in 2011 went 8-5 and looked good in some games and got beat by some good teams, bad in others. LSU is 2-4....they may finish 4-6. They look bad against mediocre or bad team. Coach O is a nice guy but I find him to be clueless and dumb as a brick. They caught lightning in a bottle last year and LSU folks will even tell you that he is totally dependent on having knock out Coordinators. Well.....both of those left.

We have four to go and two of them are very winnable.
Mississippi State is a complete dumpster fire. Even a pedestrian defensive and offensive performance should result in a win against the hapless in Starkville.
Tennessee - I still say is a toss up even though they look like they are in free fall. If they lose to Arkansas this week, we may catch them in the right place to get them. However, Pruitt owns the Gus/Chad offense and may be in desperate need of a big win to save his own caboose. Lean Auburn but not as sure at MSStake.
Alabama - I strongly suggest we all just ignore that game this year. It's gonna be ugly. FloraBama at 2 am closing time ugly.
Texas A&M - Part of it is when this game occurs (after the for sure butt whipping from the Tahd) and the fact that if aTm is still a one -loss team, they have a lot to play for (potential #4 in the playoffs and such). The other thing while they are not sessy at all, they do function rather efficiently. That looks like a loss for sure.
That would leave us at 6-4.

I'm trying to stay out of this, but it's ridiculous. You know what he is. Nothing about that changed. He learned nothing. He did not grow. Things are not getting better. He's not making progress. He is and will remain what he's always been for the duration.

No doubt. I’m just stunned at how clueless they are on D. They’ve got athletes galore but look like nobody knows who they’re supposed to be covering. Offensively, yes they need Brennan back in a bad way.

I've seen LSU play some. As much as it sickens me, I've been in places where it was unavoidable.
I saw the corner and safety both break to the same spot on the field leaving the middle open against MSU. I've seen a DB leave his man to support the run assuming he had help over the top ... except the guy up top had charged straight to the other side of the field, leaving 2/3 of the field completely empty. I've seen hips turned wrong, shoulders turned wrong, blown assignments, confusion. Against State I blamed it on youth. But, much like AU it hasn't changed. It's not gotten better. State is terrible. Carved them up.
Keep your panties on is all I'm saying. LSU is fall off the face of the earth bad. I have no idea how they manhandled South Carolina after AU let that pathetic Will Muschamp-led team win.
You like to delude yourselves into thinking life with Gus is a rollercoaster. But it's not. Well, maybe it is, but like a rollercoaster the more you ride it the more it stays the same. Same turns, same dips, same falls, same climbs. Whee!

Hard to say. Credit definitely due for reigning it all in after Sakerlina. If memory serves, he had Nix throw it 47 times in a game that was tight throughout. Went back to run first, quicker release passing game, which seems to fit Nix and this O-line better. The last 2 games have been stellar from a play calling standpoint. The first four games were really questionable.

Just saw where Derick Hall was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Had 2 sacks, one of which caused the fumble Tutt scored on. Maybe this will get him going. Been saying all year we need some heat off the edge.
