The preseason foosballz magazines have hit the stands. I've always loved those things and it's where I do all my in-depth research in my study (toilet) for my long streak of BFTC wins. Street & Smith has long become my favorite, but I have to question their sanity this season. Their preseason ranking has us at #9.
I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that no one had Spring practice and it appears they are just guessing at a lot of the projected starters. Hell, they have John Marsh as the 2nd team MLB for us. Who? I'm of the belief that this is not a rebuilding year, per se, but maybe more of a hold our own year and see who might step up for 2021.
Anyway, many happy times ahead whilst perched upon the Whisper Flush XJ 6000.

Good read on the stockpiling of TEs on the plains.
Definitely a good read, especially when he said "tight end (giggity)" I believe I saw where O'Grady had over 30 catches for the Hawgs last season. Compare that to what this piece said about our TE's having 11 total since 2015. How is that even possible?
The whole key to me, as it was with all previous OC's, is will Malzahn let Morris run the show? The little I've looked back at his career, he seems to be solid in that capacity. Just shit all over the bed as the Big Cheese in Fayettenam.

Lindy's ranks our LB corp as #1 in the SEC. KJ Britt, Owen Pappoe and Zacoby McClain will definitely be the strength of the D this year. Britt is that big banger in the middle while Pappoe and McClain are more in the likeness of Co T-Will. Run you down and bring the pain.

Derrick Hall is the guy I thought was the sleeper out of this past class. He's listed as a DE at 6'3" 230, so he's more of a linebacker to me. I'm hoping he's going to be someone who can finally give us that consistent pressure off the edge we haven't had in a while. To my non-expert eyes, Big Kat just doesn't look fast/quick enough. Whatever the reason, he doesn't seem to be able to get off or around blocks and get to the QB. I miss having a Carl Lawson, Dee Ford or Corey Lemon-ear, who were always bringing the heat off the edge. Hoping this guy can develop into that.
