Auburn redshirt freshman Jashawn Sheffield was arrested in Georgia twice in the last 11 days, arrest records show.

Sheffield was arrested for disorderly conduct on May 9 and then a week later was arrested under suspicion of DUI in Statesboro, Ga. Both charges are misdemeanors in the state of Georgia.

According to Statesboro arrest logs, Sheffield was released on $1,576 bond for the DUI arrest.

An Auburn spokesman told AL.com on Wednesday that head coach Gus Malzahn is aware of Sheffieldâ€™s arrests and that Sheffield has been suspended indefinitely.
