I sort of like Baumhower's Wings. Don't like eating in the place as much because it's so damned loud, but the food -- for what it is -- is pretty decent. I've known the family peripherally (through one of his brothers) for a lot of years. I overlook Bama Bob's rampant hillbilly leanings.
Couple of times I've been pissed off. Once went there (was wearing an AU shirt my friend in LSU) and we were denied service "because the Bama game is on, and we saving seats for Bama fans." But in general I don't mind eating there on occasion.
I get that this current situation has to be really hard for him. Appreciate the fact that he's trying to do whatever he can to make it through.
But did al.com REALLY have to wedge not one, but TWO fucking Bahr Brunt videos in this piece? It makes me care a whole lot less about it.

I generally like Bob (much like I did Stabler), and his places of the eatings. Like you, I do tend to lean towards their food being good. I used to frequent the one in Auburn a ton. He was in there once and seemed like a pretty cool dude. Walls all decked out in Auburn stuff from top to bottom. Not sure if they still do, but they used to have Tiger Talk there during the season - went once and met Gus and Rod. Its just a pretty cool atmosphere at that one.

I think they had moved it to Buffalo Wild Wings but not sure if it's still there

Speaking of food and memorabilia, we have a Full Moon BBQ here and while the barbecue is pretty decent, it's worth going in for all the AU/UA/FSU etc. stuff that covers every inch of the walls.

That new one over in Opelika is much the same - very very cool memoruhhbillyaz on the wall. The white sauce is spot on!

I can't go there unless I know how Bahr Brunt felt about it.

Oh he'd get a little of that white sauce and mix it up with a shot....or 3...of George Dickel Rye and that large pulled pork sandwich would be kicked up a notch.

He owns 11 or 12 restaurants I think. I live in the same town and have seen him out a lot and like you say, he seems to be a nice fellow. He’s very down to earth. Much more so than say, Snags or Wes.
If you didn’t know it, you certainly wouldn’t think he was a former NFL defensive lineman. He has probably shrunk several inches and walks with bowed legs and appears to be in pain. Still, I would not mess with the dude. His hands alone look like he could hurt a fellow.
It would not be pretty. Like when I get ahold of Token.

Token would beat you silly with his cop stick before you could even utter the words "Police Brutality"

His cop stick is huge.

Have you seen his cop stick? How long is it? Is it hard?

Ohh you ask that like you don’t know. But. Yes. Yes. Yes.

I just heard that Mr Bob Sr. passed away.(the elder) I don’t know the details.
I originally thought that it was the one who owns the restaurants but I forgot his dad was still living.
Prayers for his family.
