Title: vs Ole Miss Thread
Post by: The Six on November 02, 2019, 07:54:30 PM
Well, one quarter in and we look stupid as ever on offense. Even Carlson has caught the yips. WTH are we doing out there against these chumps?

Abhorrent. Horrible play calling and execution. If not for the defense, this is a 3 win team.

Seth Williams looks to be as interested in this offense as I am.

3rd and 6...let's go deep. missed fg
Nascar...ran out of gas. missed fg
Fumblecat. chip shot

Nice tackle by Prince for the touchdown. As usual. No offensive identity. Okay. It is offensive .

In addition to all that, we have to look at and hear Porky Rowe.

507 yards and 20 points. Let that sink in real good. That’s what we are now under Gus.

Field goal no good.

Gus. No guts, nuts or sack.

Yeeee HOOO!  We won, dammit!  We 7-2.  It all still in front ofus.  Just a couplae of plays from really beating this team by at least ten points.

We gonna get it fix.  Beat a week off. He got this.  Why is anybody mad?  We won like seven games. That was a tocugh SEC team!  Ola Miss got a good fotoball team.  Everybody saw the good things.   Future is bright.  I got my shades.

Waffle House, cucks.  We goin to the Waffle House.

Apparently the student section bailed early and folks booed at the end of the game. The sunshine pumpers are out in full force denouncing any and all fans who dare question the greatness of this 7-2 team.

The big money cannot be happy after what they saw last night...

We won’t score on UGA and UA might hang 50 on depending how banged up the D is.

I saw some Jeff fisher and Vandy talk. Do any of y’all think he would come/take him here?

The blue blood side of our fanbase are the issue from what I’ve seen. The ones that think their opinion means more than the other side because they may donate a little more money than you. Or their last name. The ones that pay large amounts of money for luxury boxes and spots near the stadium. With names like Trevor Chett Sterling IV. The pizza is warm. The beer is cold. The money is flowing in and they see games as events to have social hour and rub elbows with other asshats like them. They are the ones honking gus’ knob. Running gatewood through the mud. And calling ole miss a “big win over a really tough sec team!”

And also included is most of the big brass up top with the exception of Rane and lowder (who is powerless now).

Then there is the Normal part of the fanbase who has common sense and cares about it all in an organic sense. That doesn’t mind the hard truth that something just isn’t right with this guy that we’re paying 49 million to.

I thought this all last week and saw it evident in social media. I then confirmed it on campus yesterday. I purposely made comments to gauge reactions from people across the board in re to Gus. You have a holier than thou vocal minority. And you have a more practical silent majority when it comes to This divide. And it’s a very real divide in the fan base at the moment.

Something just ain't right.

These people don't seem to share the same fervor we have for football nor even care that we just struggled mightily for a hard earned victory over arizonastate.edu

But you know who would be great fit there?  Gus Malzahn.

It's our job to put him in a position to succeed as a head coach.

Dropped a spot in the AP poll (#12) which doesn't surprise me. We'll be lucky to stay in the top 25 (after a bowl appearance) by the time it's all said and done.

In other words, a normal Gus campaign.

Pretty much. Maybe we should do as Arky fans. 896 in attendance is pretty bad. That may get the ball rolling there.

Trevor Chett Sterling IV would never eat pizza in his skybox.  Now you're just being silly.

I was totally unmotivated to watch this game. I did sit down to watch but I can tell you that I did not watch it in its entirety. It just sucked. I'm sure there are many here that share that sentiment and also throughout the fan base. I don't foresee that changing really because as long as Gus is HC, we will continue to deal with this feeling of uncertainty. I know its been joked about, you know, when does basketball season start but I'm serious about that. We are all tired of the bs drama called Auburn football and ready to be excited about an Auburn sport. Thank you Bruce Pearl!!

Leaving early bothers me, but folks can do what they want.
I don't like Gus but we should never be booing, that shit is wrong when you have guys playing and recruits in the stands.

If the boo's happened fuck those fans.

^^one of my pet peeves.

The players cannot tell who a boo is directed toward. I hate booing. I don’t even boo the other team when they run onto the field.

I would not boo if Wes saddled up Dallas and rode him out of the tunnel while trying to lasso a naked Chizad.

Well, maybe I would then but not normally.

No matter how we feel about Gus or the play calling, this team was one score away from the number 1 team on the road in a game with around 6 lead changes.

and the loss to UF much the same except for a late 80 yard score by Perine.

The boys played their hearts out.

Don’t boo, I said.

The fans didnt boo at the end of the game.  They did at half because many wanted (foolishly) for us to try and score.  On a good note, I thought Nix looked as accurate as I've seen him.  3 bad drops early on by the pass non-catchers.  Of course, the difference was that the Black Bears had no ability to put any pressure on him.

This. The offense could not finish drives and Gus had them stand there for like 40 seconds looking all goofy until the clock ran out.

I know right, I best get to reading. I almost forgot that it has already been chosen for me to be happy in the middle of the pack.
