I got this email from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend...who asked if i sent this out, to not use his name.

Alright here is as much as I know from my sources…these aren’t the fake sources you hear people refer to on the radio. Tuesday morning at practice Franklin went nuts, beyond what you read in the paper, not only was he running around like a nut on the practice field but he would not allow any of the assistants to coach their positions, he was trying to do everything. In the offensive meeting that same day he really goes crazy a$$ nuts (a good friend of Franklin’s said he thinks Tony just lost it, like needs to go talk to somebody lost it), he starts cussing out the players…in particular he calls Kodi Burns out in front of everyone and says “Burns if you were worth a sh*t you’d be playing, but your not!” He apparently became so hostile to a particular lineman that he and the lineman were restrained. When this occurs one of the assistant coaches tells him to calm down and Franklin says “Fk you! Go tell Tubs, I don’t give a fk what he says, this is my offense!”
All of this is occurring while Tubs is in his CEO bubble…doing his press conference other duties. When the assistants make Tub aware of what took place at practice Tubs calls Franklin and tells him to meet him first thing Wednesday morning in his office. Wednesday morning Tubs tells Franklin he understands the stress but he will not tolerate talking to the players on a personal level like that. Franklin raises his voice to Tubs questioning how he runs the program…Tubs then tells him to go to his office, get his stuff and get lost.
You might interpret this as a save face for Tubs version of the story but most of this came from a players Dad (the lineman that almost came to blows with Franklin) and a coach who is a good, good friend of Franklins. His last statement to me was…”This is all on Tubs, I told him last year that while Franklin is a good friend he should not hire him…there was no way he was going to be able to work with that staff.”

Awww, come on. I was jest joshin' ya. Just so you don't feel too bad, I know of three or four other people who already got this "super secret" email. I've had it read back to me with claims of "reliable sources" too. Maybe it's true. Who knows.

It has been confirmed by a lot of other people. I was actually about to post the same email....So, I'll post this one that I got as well....
"He went absolutely ape shit on a coach in front of all the players, which wasn't mentioned, and just acted in a VERY unprofessional manner which made the players wonder what the fuck was going on.
What went down b/w him and CTT would be great to hear but I'm sure there is only 2 people who really know the details w/ that. Regardless, it was obvious to CTT that a change needed to be made pronto disregarding the media backlash. He made that decision for the good of Auburn and you can believe that.
BTW, The Players are much happier now."

Here's the email I received from the Drill Press Tribune this morning...
Franklin woke up Tuesday morning and decided that he was tired of faking like he was a nice guy and it was about time to unleash the real Tony Franklin. He got out of bed, kicked his dog a few times, and urinated without flushing or putting the seat back down. He then turned the shower on and let it run for thirty minutes while he read the paper and ate Little Debbies. When he was done with the paper, he threw it in the trash and threw the Little Debbie wrappers in the paper recycling bin. He then used a towel to wipe away any deodorant from the previous day and left the towel on the floor for his wife to pick up.
As Franklin exited the bathroom, he glanced towards the running shower and turned all the bathroom lights on. Next, he walked through his kitchen and smacked his wife on the fanny, who was cooking bacon at the time. He threw the bacon against the wall, but he made sure he got some bacon grease on his hands and he rubbed it in his hair.
Franklin then walked into his garage, removed the muffler from his car, and drove to work. He drove 80 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, swerving towards women and children. Arriving at the athletic complex, he parked his car and violently opened his door, putting a huge dent in Hugh Nall's truck. He didn't leave a note.
Walking into the athletic complex, Franklin swatted a cup of coffee out of a trainer's hands and stormed into the players' meeting, which had already started. Upon busting into the room, Franklin ripped off his shirt, started screaming "WILD BOYS!!!", and challenged the players and other coaches to oil wrestle him. Coach Knox began to remove his pants, but the other coaches were able to restrain him.
On Wednesday, upon hearing of the previous day's events, Tuberville called Franklin into his office and said, "the only person who will be oil wrestling my coaches and players is me. Now, pack up your crap and get out of here".
And that, my friends, is what really happened, according to my sister's mother's son, who is a really smart person.
