It's pitch black dark.  It's 5:15.  I hate daylight savings. time. You're not saving shit.  It's midnight....at 5:15.

I hate it too.  

Most of the people who work in my office are female.  Tomorrow begins the constant requests to leave early because they or their husbands are nervous about them driving home in the dark.  Every year I have to reiterate again what the hours are. Every year I will get a call from some husband upset because the office parking lot isnt well lit.  

I hate it.

i'm torn.  i like rape but only...wait.


i don't like the back and forth.  i get disoriented for a day or two.  as much as it pains me the spring forward [DST] i give the edge.  i enjoy the longer, lit summer evenings.  10 p.m. the last light twinkles.  

i appreciate every ounce of [sun]light i can get living in this god forsaken, endless gray, hippy dreary rain that parks itself for a better part of 7 to 8 months ...from October to May. 

without DST sunrise will be @ 4 a.m.  first light at 3:30 a.m.  i don't want that.  no i don't.
