Title: Week Nine Cleared Out Some Chaff
Post by: The Six on October 28, 2018, 08:30:59 AM
Oklahoma St 38, #6 Texas 35
- Longhorns can't handle success. Totally overrated. Herman is a bitch, too.

Cal 12, #10 Washington 10
- Face it, Huskies lost to a mediocre Auburn team and that should have told everyone something. PAC 12 sucks.

Mississippi State 28, #16 Texas A&M 13
- Aggies will probably blow us out now. Second team that went to Starkville and let Nick Fitzgerald look like the second coming of Tim Tebow on them. Jimbo is still a whiny bitch.

Arizona 44, #19 Oregon 15
- They wrote an article claiming Mario Cristobal was doing a Nick Saban build in Oregon and since then, the Less-Than-Mighty Ducks have lost 2 of 3 games. This one is inexplicable. Sumlin's Wildcats have looked like a blind monkey jerking into a cup all year and now they destroy Oregon. PAC 12 sucks.

Northwestern 55, #20 Wisconsin17
- Hurt QB or not, the Badgers should never lose to a journalism school outside of Chicago.

There were others, but this sums up the random beatings of week 9.

Game of the Century 16 is the late CBS game. My guess is the actual best game of the weekend (Georgia-Kentucky) will be the earlier CBS game.

The Tahd had that monumental 3rd Saturday in October road test at Rocky Top and now its heading to Baton Rouge to test its mettle in one of the most hostile environments in all of college football. Just doesn't get any better.

Watched about 15 minutes of the Kentucky-Missouri game.   Realized that I didn't care.  Did other things yesterday and was so much happier for it.

I truly no longer have any interest at all.  We suck.  I've spent most of my life getting kicked in the teeth and/or guts by a program I've poured my love, my money and my passion into.  Gus is a goofy Arkansas clown. I can do without football.

I started Saturday turning my right ankle and twisting my left knee as I fell down some stairs at home. I applied Tiger Balm and went with the Mrs. to an apple festival in Lincolnton. We drove back to Charlotte, ate some okay BBQ, and watched The Conjuring 2 last night. I got up at 6 and watched College Football Final on ESPN2 this morning to post what I had in the OP. When I saw we were the brunch game, I decided the season was over and I had better things to do, too. If we some how win that and Auburn makes the Belk Bowl, I'll meet up with any of you clowns who venture to my town to hang, but I ain't watching that game nor any other Auburn game this year.

I told Snagette if A&M lost Saturday, we'd be the 11 a.m. game....again.  I'm one that rarely misses a home game every year.  I even drove up for that 11 a.m. UT debacle.  Was pissed at myself for wasting a day like that.  Unless I get the offer of hookers and blow after the game this Saturday, my fat ass will be grillin and chillin at the Snag Cave.

I love 11am games when Auburn sucks. Get it over with. I'm wondering, when does Auburn start playing during the week?

When you start voting GOP. That's all decided at the conference level. The SEC has not featured many weekday games (outside of Thanksgiving week) for a couple years or so, even for struggling teams.

Truth is, in spite of how disappointing Auburn may be this year, fans still show up, still watch TV, still spend money. So as far as the PTB and TV powers see it, Auburn is bankable. That's all that matters.

15 more minutes than I watched.  I got my ass up at 5 and headed to the woods in search for Bambi and his family.  After the State game I decided that I would do a lot more hunting this year than previous years.  It's fun and my son enjoys going so I get to spend time with him.  After I got home from hunting I moseyed on down to the local race track.  I had no desire to watch football.  First year that has ever happened.  I would schedule hunts around football games.  Not this year.  Sad.

I told you to quit talking shit about Nick Saban.
