This is literally the only place I come for college football news and analysis. What in the fuck is going on here?

Twoaha Tonsilitis isn’t as good as everybody wants to believe. He’s made some extremely stupid plays and been bailed out by his receivers who have been — let’s be honest — running routes against air. The wideouts are good but aren’t likely to torch the entire SEC. Will they be running in space against Ole Miss? Yep. And the rest of your schedule is so weak it may be a while before he gets hit or has to check down to a second option.
Happy?

Well certainly that wasn’t all that happened in week 2.

1. I actually appreciate the opposite view of how good Bama is, helps keep the expectations tempered. So thanks.

WT runned him off too!

I will gladly take credit for Chizad. Although I think it’s more of his being afraid that I was going to beat his ass than my actual telling him to leave. I never told him that.
Now, I did threaten to whip his ass. Sure. So, maybe that’s it. I don’t know.
But as far as I know, I never insulted THS. Not knowingly, anyway.
There is a long ass list that I have knowingly insulted though. Thanks for pointing out a few of my shortcomings cctau.
Can’t we just let bygones be bygones?

He just wanted somebody to blow Bama and I wasn't inclined. That's all that happened in his world.

I wanted to see someone blow Bama I'd watch ESPN or read al.com. I'll just go back to reading the political forum, that seems to be the happening place.

My thoughts are:
The SEC West will be a murderers row. Kind of.
Ole Miss - will be exposed this week.
Miss. State - will be exposed the first time they play a team with a decent DL.
LSU - ^^^see above. Although, their defense will keep them in most of their games.
Arkansas - Are we sure they are still in the SEC?
Auburn - Very good. Good enough to make it through Amen Corner on the road? Probably not.
Fighting Tuers - Will struggle against a team that can throw the ball and play run defense. Unfortunately they won't see a team like that until they roll into Red Stick...well, they will be able to do half of that anyway.

Few things on LSU:
Their qb is etling lite. His completion % is 47 against two juggernauts.
Their OL is avg at run blocking. They are horrible at pass blocking. Southeastern nuns of New Hampshire was in their backfield a LOT sat night in red stick.
Their O wasn’t actually that good against Miami. They won the field position and turnover battle all night that game.
Their DL and secondary are uber good.
Kaos is right , they live and die with the emotion of coach donkeylips. They also have stinkfinger calling the master plan. That oddly makes me feel at ease about this game.

And we seem to keep good teams in teh game by giving them hope. Score a TD against UW instead of a FG, and they fall apart. Let's hope we get into the endzone early and often this game. It will be over quick if we can.

I was being facetious. If you want top notch football analysis, I'll try to do better.

AUBURN, Alabama — Punter Aidan Marshall has left the team after losing the starting job to newcomer Arryn Siposs (https://247sports.com/Player/Arryn-Siposs-46050208), Auburn Undercover has learned.
The walkon out of Virginia informed coach Gus Malzahn (https://247sports.com/Coach/Gus-Malzahn-17) of the decision this week, a person familiar with the decision tells Auburn Undercover. Malzahn is scheduled to address the media next at his weekly press conference Tuesday morning.
Marshall was in a dead heat with Siposs, a sophomore, for the starting job heading into the season and received the nod to start in the season opener Sept. 1 against Washington, booting one punt for 30 yards before he was yanked in favor of Siposs, a former professional Aussie Rules football player.
Marshall has not returned to the field since the lone punt against the Huskies and Siposs has handled the last four punts for the Tigers while averaging 40.8 yards. Siposs punted twice Saturday in Auburn's 63-9 victory against Alabama State at an average of 38 yards and landed one punt inside the 20-yard line.
Marshall averaged only 39.4 yards per punt in 2017 but Malzahn said in August he had improved drastically from year to year.
"Aidan Marshall has raised his game from last year to this year big time," Malzahn said during preseason camp. "It’s a really good competition and this time last year, just feeling about our punting game, is like night and day. It’s a great competition. But he’s a competitor and it’s great competition."
It's possible Auburn moves Ian Shannon (https://247sports.com/Player/Ian-Shannon-75409) back into the lineup at punter to be Siposs' backup heading into No. 7 Auburn's showdown with No. 12 LSU this week. Shannon was Auburn's starter until he was replaced by Marshall five games into the 2017 season.
Shannon has averaged 38.2 yards per punt during his career. He handled kickoffs and extra points late in Auburn's blowout of Alabama State, converting all three point-after attempts. The Marietta, Georgia native punted 14 times in four games last season. He averaged 39.8 yards per punt and landed five of those punts inside the 20-yard line.
Like Siposs, Shannon is on scholarship. He is a junior.
Marshall is the son of a former Auburn track and cross country runner and was a walkon. Siposs was placed on scholarship after committing to the Tigers before the 2018 season.
"We will be better at the punting game than we were last year, I’ll tell you that," Malzahn reiterated in August.
Marshall, a sophomore, gained an incredible 27 pounds in the offseason to bulk up to 190 pounds heading into the season. Siposs weighs 200 pounds after playing several years of Aussie rules football.
"(Marshall is) bigger and stronger," Malzahn said earlier in preseason camp. "I think, too, the confidence. He kicked in some big games and the confidence he has and he’s a confident guy, too. He’s a competitor, too. And then a guy shows up who has a huge leg. That has a way of even making you better and I think that’s what we’re seeing so far."
Marshall handled most of Auburn’s punts last season with varying degrees of success. He was not helped much by the Tigers' punt coverage unit, either. Auburn ranked 115th nationally in net punting in 2017 at 35.6 yards.
Siposs trained with ProKick Australia leading up to his arrival at Auburn. Auburn coaches hope he follows in the footsteps of former Australians to come out of ProKick. The last five Ray Guy Award winners trained with ProKick Australia.

It all begins with the long snapper. How do you think Daniel Carlson became the SEC's all time leading scorer? Hmm? Ever ask yourself that?
Didn't think so.
-
He was probably a bit miffed that he was a starting punter in the SEC and still no scholarship.
Well, until he wasn't the starter. It is a different world for a walk-on. The political bullshit you put up with is sometimes too much. Good luck to the kid.

Since this is token’s thread, I feel like it’s a good place to encourage him on the continued weight loss effort.
As most of you know, he has me on ignore. We’ve had our differences. I guess because I’ve made some wise cracks about his jail.
But I think we need to support him and since he can’t read my posts, please give him some atta boys. I’d recommend: “keep it up, Porkchop!â€
“Go hard, cornbread.â€
“Keep working, Lardass!â€
Or, just anything supportive like this. You’d think that the county would have stricter physical recruitments to help prevent employees from getting so incredibly fat.
