Title: SEC Opener
Post by: Godfather on September 10, 2018, 09:21:36 AM
Auburn opens up a 10 point favorite over the Faux Tigers.

Honestly I’m feeling woodshed revenge. Hope my gut is right.

I watched LSU play Saturday.

They looked average.  The quarterback is fair and they've got a good running back.   Defense is good but has some holes.

The announcers were calling Ensminger "half a genius" for the way he was using the talent they have.  I don't know what that means.

They are a very emotional team.  Personality of the head coach and all that.  One of those teams you can't let get on a roll, but also one that will collapse inward if something doesn't go right.

Two top 15 draft picks on their D gets my attention. I really hope they go into this game with chests bowed out and cocky. I do not like the opening line as it gives them motivation. But Vegas usually has a way of nailing these things.

WT going to be there in case anybody wants to start some shit, Saturday is the day.

I think 10 is way too much. I agree with revenge possibilities and we will really see what our potential is.

Listened to an interview with Lane Kiffin prior to their opener with Oklahoma on the Dan Patrick Show.  Patrick asked him about his pregame speech and Kiffin said he was going to tell them to take it real slow so they don't get beat by more than 40.  (Didn't work)  Patrick told him he knew he was obviously kidding, but Kiffin said, "They weren't able to build all those massive buildings in Las Vegas by being wrong."

If Vegas lost more than it won it wouldn’t be there anymore. It wins A LOT more than it loses.
