Holy Shit!.. Walmart was clean sold out of the red tide tshirts last night. It looked like a tornado hit the rack/s of tide stuff in the men/boys clothing section. And the tailgate section where the tide stuff was shelved was trashed also.
Yes, I buy my groceries at Wallyworld.
Driving to work this morning.......holy shit........did the government start mailing out tide car magnets and was I the only person to not get one? WTF? Where do these people come from? Fucking UATers coming out of the wood work......
No wonder the rest of the country considers this state to be one of the most ignorant backwards states in the nation.....people who obviously have no fucking connection to any type of higher education suddenly becoming raving fans of said university. OMG, it is sad, really sad.

I don't like to see it either but that's what happens when your winning.
Thoses are the type fans I don't like having on the bandwagon. :puke:

So you clearly admit it's merely a bandwagon? ...and you're on it? :tits:

I was at a hotel in Atlanta a few weeks after the 2004 season ended. I had an AU sweatshirt on and was riding the elevator with some other folks, one of which was a UGA fan. He started mouthing off about how he was seeing more and more AU gear after this season. I was laughing and saying I always represent. About that time, the door opened and he stepped out. Another person asked me if I was getting off here and I said I wasn't. Just as the doors closed, the Georgia guy says, "No, he's gonna' keep riding that bandwagon".
Part of me wanted to track him down and rip him a new one. The other part just had to laugh and think that was awesome timing. I got powned. Credit given where credit due.
-
I got powned.
It's "pwned" man...get your internet lingo down! I bet your voting for McCain...you 20th Century old bastard...

No, that day I was "powned" and I'm sticking to it. :pwnd:

Have these fuckers not realized that this happens every four years? For the past 12 years or something, the tide has managed a 10 win season. This was brought up on the roundtable a while back. So, every four years we have to put up with this arrogant bullshit, and hear how they are back where they are suppose to be, all is right in college football, etc. Sure it makes all of us puke, but there is a laugh at the end of the season when they are not playing for the MNC for the hundreth time in the history of football. So, just try to ignore the toothless masses at wal mart, and remember it will get better for us.
Side note, why don't they put some toothbrushes and tooth paste over there with all of that bama shit at the wal marks. Ahh nevermind, it would just confuse those retarted motherfuckers.
WAR FUCKING EAGLE!!!

Actually, it's every three years:
1996 -10-3
1997 - 4-7
1998 - 7-5
1999 - 10-3
2000 - 3-8
2001 - 7-5
2002 - 10-3
2003 - 4-9
2004 - 6-6
2005 - 10-2
2006 - 6-7
2007 - 7-6
So they're due, historically speaking, for a 10-win season.
-
until proven otherwise, i'm just going to assume we figure out some way to fuck this up.

as a Bama fan, i want so badly to be incredibly stoked. and don't get me wrong, i'm pretty happy right now. i couldn't ask for more. but it seems like something ALWAYS happens. i don't want it to, but i'm sure something will happen. we seem to hit a good spot every few years, but i don't think we've seen any of those teams play as well as this one. if they can keep playing like they have been it is going to be tough for anybody to beat us. we're not doing anything cute or gimmicky or anything like that. just straight up in your face kick you in the va-jay-jay football.

You've taken advantage of Mr. Momentum BIG TIME against Ark and GA. Lots of turnovers your way and lots of early momentum that was almost impossible to overcome...in fact, it proved to be just that.
It'll be interesting to see how Bama plays in a tight one vs. a good team like Georgia should have been. LSU maybe.. Auburn down the road???

the LSU game will be interesting. we know that playing on the road won't be an issue (hopefully). Les Miles is a good coach no matter how much that hurts me to say it. he has the balls to make some of the calls he does and it works. that bullshit you guys call an offense doesn't worry me at all. Todd will shit his pants when he sees some of the looks he will get from our defense. scratch that, he won't shit his pants because he won't know wtf he is even looking at. your defense is really really good, but at some point they will get tired of the offense leaning on them. i think the problem will be that Alabama seems to be able to run the ball at will. if your defense gets gassed early, it might not be pretty. the offense will be no help in giving the defense rest and the line could get worn down fairly quickly.

Here we agree. However, LSU won't be doing any special color scheme though in Death Valley, they're fucking crazy already, and they will be ready for Saban. I don't think Alabama has seen ANYTHING like what they'll go through that night.

As far as your defense, Georgia made it look goofy in the second half. If Brown catches just a couple of the passes he dropped in the second half, that game gets interesting REALLY quick. 30 points in the second half, with no turnovers vs. Bama's D.... Trust me, after the LSU game, there isn't anything that Bama brings that will be that new to our offense. Besides, that'll be the last game in a season we're not even halfway through. Todd, Burns, or whoever will either have improved, or we'll just battle through with what we've got. As far as one team getting gassed, the program likely to go though that will be Bama because of your lack of depth. Any injuries and your defense looks like swiss cheese. It's way to early to be predicting the Iron Bowl at this point anyway. Our record vs. Top 5 teams (which I doubt you'll still be at that time...) is a pretty good one, ad also our "pretty good" recent history vs. Alabama and I say that you guys don't have an easy time at all.

the defense was playing plain vanilla in prevent the second half. i'm sure some of the players got pretty complacent as well, not to mention the fact that Stafford is a bad motherfucker, i'm not surprised they put some points up in the second half. i'm not HAPPY about it, but i'm not surprised either. its still stuff that needs to be fixed. speaking of things needing fixing, don't get me started on kickoff coverage. even though the kickoff return for a TD should have been called back (the SEC has acknowledged the no-call of two blocks in the back by UGA on that return as being error) our kickoff coverage has been horrible all season. Dunn has turned into a pretty good returner so we need to get that fixed as well. don't get me wrong, i'm not happy about them coming back like they did in the second half. but you have to admit you can't be totally surprised given the talent of the team.

We shall see. Only time, and a bucking of the usual Bama past for this to remain a positive thing. I'll reserve judgment and preparation for the Iron Bowl for the weeks leading up to it. Right now it would be a toss up with Bama probably coming out on top given a turnover opportunity or two. However, any improvement on our offense, and a continued progression of our defense, I'd happily give us the edge over Bama. Too early to tell.

Yeah....bammers, don't worry about Kentucky, Ole Miss, OR Miss State. I'm sure the taghd will roll over them with ease.
Y'all aint won a God Damn thing yet....notice I said yet. If the team keeps playing like they're doing and IF there isn't any major injuries to the OLine, then there's a good chance that uat will be playing a Big 12 team in Miami. But, right now.....Sit The FUCK DOWN, Shut The FUCK UP, and Enjoy The MUTHA FUCKIN' Victories. Y'all earned it.....Cock Suckers, lol.

ETC. - Saban said the Southeastern Conference verified that two penalties were missed by officials on a 92-yard punt for a touchdown by Georgia's Prince Miller Saturday: "The [officials] have a tough job - they just missed it," Saban said. "But the two guys that could have made the play, there were both infractions on."

i'll let you know when the SEC posts a bigass banner on their website that says

Didn't think they needed one being that they so openly let Saban know. Just askin... This should be readily available since it's so obvious that there were missed calls. I know it's just another plot by the NCAA man to bring down the Bama people and all, and that's why the call was missed, and if they hadn't happened, there's no way Georgia scores any points in the second half and all .... I understand....
I hear ya...

If that happens kiss it goodbye. What say ye RWS? Wouldn't that be the reason that UA struggled against Tulane?

the problem with the OL in the Tulane game was the line had to be quickly patched. for whatever reason, they had assumed the patch job that had been devised would be sufficient. since then they have been practicing with a plan B line with who they feel are the right people in the right order to handle it. in the Tulane game we lost one, then had to slide another over, and then put in somebody who had not played that position to fill in for the guy that slid over, and for that matter the guy that slid had never played a game at LT, just had a few practices there. i honestly have no idea how the new Plan B will work out, seeing as how the first Plan B worked out OK in practice, but not so much in a game situation.

If LSU is the cream of the conference, we're in trouble. If Bama and the Tigahs met tomorrow it would be a 14-17 point Bama win. This conference is going to get fucking CRAZY the next 3-4 weeks. There may be nobody in the MNC picture but it's gonna' be a fun ride. War freakin' SEC!!!!

the apocalypse is upon us. UA, UK and Vandy are the unbeaten teams in the SEC. Vandy leads the SEC East, is ranked, and has drawn GameDay to their campus. Alabama is ranked #2 and has been picked by ESPN to be in the Orange Bowl. if you would have told me of this scenario in August i would have told you that you are full of shit.

Very true, but that is why college football is awesome.

How history repeats itself.
South Carolina jumped up to #2 in the nation after beating UGA in 2007. They came back to earth after taking a thumping from a #12 LSU then going to drop the last five games of the season.
South Florida also made an appearance in the top 5 of the polls in 2007.
Despite what Kirk Herby and other talking heads say, UAT has a long row to hoe to be ranked #2 in the country come December. Enjoy the attention while it last bammers, it might be three years before you have another team capable of winning 10 games.
