Despite my protestations, al.com went ahead with their site update and it now looks like a seven year old took a pile of post-it notes and stuck them to a screen.  It's by far the worst revision of a site I've ever seen.  It drops back to something from the late 90s.  It's seriously as bad as the first site I ever designed back in about 1997.  

That said, the content didn't change much.  Today's spew-fest includes a fawning article over a Bama asshole, Tony Brown, a bunch of shit about Saban and essentially nothing about Auburn except how Byron Cowart is so much happier at Maryland and how AU's strength program causes injuries.
