Malzahn flew out to meet the Rice grad to try and persuade the 6'5 300 lb. left tackle to come to the Plains.
Going up against the likes of Texas and Notre Dame among others but there's always a chance.
Haven't seen anyone leftover from this past season that could consistently protect Stidham's blindside and we've done pretty well with grad transfers so far.

Supposedly making his decision on Saturday.

Seems like AU is the only school that meets all his criteria, but if he wanted to be here you'd think he'd have decided prior to spring practice beginning.

Everything I've read, says it's Texas.  Doesn't make sense since there is a better opportunity for playing time at AU.  Maybe I'll be wrong like I was in the basketball thread, although me being wrong twice in one year is highly unlikely.
