Title: Regular Season Stats
Post by: Snaggletiger on November 29, 2017, 09:58:55 AM
Just a quick look at some numbers after the regular season wrapped up.

Rushing:  237.7 per game

Passing:  232.6 per game

Total Offense:  470.3 per game

Scoring:  37 points per game (High of 52 Low of 6)

Opponents:  16.4 points per game  (High of 27 Low of 7)

Kerryon Johnson:  1,276 yards and 17 Rushing TD's  127.7 average per game

Jarrett Stidham:  202-295 with 16 TD's and 4 INT's.

Leading Receiver was Ryan Davis with 69 catches for 703 yards and 5 TD's

Darius Slayton had 22 Receptions for a 25.5 yards per catch average.

Very balanced offense utilizing the long and short passing game.  D is Tuberville era nasty.  Thoughts?

Kerryon should be in NYC.

Kerryon should be in NYC.

Agreed 1000%

He is the the MVP of college football this year. What he has done to some of the best defenses in the country is unmatched by anyone else in the country.

Championship.

I want to dip this entire team/staff in amber.

We can recreate 'em at will Jurassic Park-style.

To be honest, I'm still a little gun shy with Gus. Good gosh man, I hope he keeps on doing/not doing the past month. If this is the case, I really don't think there is another team in the country that will beat Auburn.

Also, if/when Auburn beats the dawgs for the SEC, they will have some time to get players healed up including Pettway. This to me would be one stroke away from porn.

Agree.  Thus, I want to preserve this exact moment.

And also why I'm so worried about this weekend.

The two games we lost were because of one thing.  Gus went full Gus. You never go full Gus.  If he's truly turned it over to Lindsey, we'll be fine and the only thing that can hurt us is self destructing with turnovers.  Let Lindsey call the game.  Protect the ball and the D stays its usual, salty self....we goin' back to Cali.

Unless Miami beats Clemson and Auburn moves to #1.
