Title: 2-2-2
Post by: Snaggletiger on November 21, 2017, 09:17:00 PM
Just heard this scenario tonight.  Probably been discussed already but it's so much cooler and more meaningful when I post it.  Okay, check this out.

No really....check this out.  This is cool.  Watch this.  Here, hold my beer.

Auburn plays Bama Saturday.  AU wins but it's a classic.  Puts AU in the top 4 but not enough to knock Bama out.  Or at the very most, they move down to 5.  AU handles it's bidnezz against Fuck Georgia.

Clemson plays, and beats, Miami in the ACC Championship.  Miami is out, Bama is back in if they were #5.  The final 4 match ups pit AU against Clemson.  We beat Clemson and Bama takes care of bidnezz in their match up.  Iron Bowl II for all the marbles.  We play:

UGA Twice
Clemson Twice
Bama Twice

Cool scenario, bro!

Would have been cooler if Vladimir described that scenario in his broken Apache ala F-Troop.

Thought of facing Bama and UGA twice but never gave Clemson another thought.
That would be the greatest achievement in the history of sports if we pulled that off.

Might even have to consider keeping Gus.

If we lose to Bama Saturday, obviously that all goes out the window.  If we win.....

Okay let's look at it just using the Top 6 as of today.
1. Alabama

#6 Auburn beats #1 Alabama.

1. Clemson (moves to #1 because of their win against Auburn)
2. Miami
3. Auburn

7. Georgia

#2 Miami beats #1 Clemson (ACC CG)
#3 Auburn beats #7 UGA (SEC CG)
#4 Oklahoma beats #12 TCU (BIG12 CG)
#5 Wisconsin beats #9 OSU (B10 CG)

1. Miami 13-0 (ACC Champ)

3. Wisconsin 13-0 (B10 Champ)

I do not see Alabama falling out of the top 4 with a close loss (within 7) at JHS.
Stidham also needs to play with a lead. If not we will get outcoached.

#4 Oklahoma beats UWV (no Championship Game)

#FakeNews Oklahoma will play a Big 12 Championship Game. Probably against TCU (if they don’t lose to Baylor).

Alabama would not move to #6 unless their entire team contracts the goat aids and has to sit for 6 months.  Even then, I'd say 5 or higher most likely.

Okay, even better. They'll beat #12 TCU again. I've edited the previous post.
