Watched the Saints Sunday and was treated to Romo's debut as an analyst on CBS.
I have two words for him: Shut the fuck up.
I never disliked Romo as a player. But I got sick of listening to him yabba dabba poo on the broadcast.
He was awful.
Still rather listen to him than that woman chainsmoker ESPN forces on us occasionally. I loathe her.

I giggled like a 6th grade school girl.

Ok. Thats funny right therrrr

I didn't see much of Sunday's game, but I watched Week 1, and I thought Tony did a great job. Dude was calling the plays the offense was going to run when they came out of the huddle and saw how the d was lined up. Talked about the check-offs and who the read was. I thought he was great...but I enjoy listening to the guys analyze the game.

I checked off a lot as a kid.

I thought it was just too much.
"See right here, they'll probably run a blue zipper donkey wink XY double fly jacket, because that's what we did in 2011 against the Cleveland Browns when it was third and three and the Browns had a nickel rolled into middle thirds and the backer dropping into lane control. "
"Oh, you see that run right there? Guess where New England stole that play from? Let me tell ya, Kansas City ran that exact play on them last week on third down when there was a slight breeze from the right and both safeties were left handed. Wanna know who's gonna have that play in their book next week? That's right, Sean Payton will be adding that to his repertoire..."
(The fact that I've seen NE run a similar play 400 times over the past ten years had no bearing on his rambling.)
It was too much for me. Too. Much. I got the point where I was like "FUCK, dude just let them run the play and quit yapping."
It was probably just me, but I thought he overdid it. I don't want some wonk telling me what's about to happen before they snap the ball. I don't like it.

I bet you do it when Auburn is on offense, it is so easy.

Funny.
I remember when my daughter was like eight or nine. I'd be watching the game and groan and she'd yell 'Dammit Ziemba!"
We've always been predictable. Just in different ways.

See...that's the kind of shit I love. I love it when a color guy talks football like that. I seriously love it. It just shows how much strategy goes in the game.
(in before dallas comment of "Not for Auburn yuk yuk yuk")
