In the midst of all this angst and excitement, we've really ignored the major news items of the day -- you know, things that render football games sort of insignificant on the global scale. 

Lehman collapse? Presidential election? AIG bailout? Fannie and Freddie?  HECK NO...

I'm talking about the news that Meagan Fox had a thing for a Vegas stripper:
