Watched SEC Network Auburn preview last night.

Chizik picked us to go 9-3 with losses to Clemson, LSU and bama
McEldouche picked us to go 10-2 with losses to Clemson and bama.
What's yer real prediction?

I think we beat Clemson. I'm more than 50% confident about it.
If we lose, all bets are off, could lose anywhere from 2-5 more games.
I think we go into LSU undefeated. We can't fucking win there since I've been paying attention to college football. As far as I can tell in person, it can't be done. I'm really, really hoping we change that this year. If we do, we will barrell ahead full steam to Bama and I will be pretty darn close to 50% confidence in that game as well. If we lose, again, could go down hill quick.

I feel that way too, but something in my gut tells me I shouldn't. It could just be last nights dinner.

I'm buying the hype: 12-0.
As is often the case in the SEC, it all begins with the DL and ours is fucking stacked. Throw in a talented and experienced back 7 and you're going to get the ball back in the offense's hands...often. If they improve marginally they're a top 15 total defense.
If the Lindsey offense shows the same propensity to stall out (which will raise some larger questions about Gus's involvement in his OC's work) we'll need that sort of stifling of the opponent.
There's plenty to prove on the other side of the ball, but the talent has never been potentially as good as it appears to be. A basic, consistent passing game (as evidenced by the stretch of games with a healthy White last season) can turn this running game into a beast with the KP/KJ combo. Elevate that passing game and watch the scoreboard light up. The biggest unknown is, obviously, Lindsey. He's green, but familiar with Gus's style/culture. He's also getting what I perceive to be a fantastic resource in Al Borges. I hope that he avails himself of that experience and guidance.
The icing on the cake is a weapon like Carlson.
Some new starters are going to need to toughen up quick, but I think there's enough experience around those few spots to cover up most of the growing pains.
I'm not living in terror of any team on our schedule.

Yes, I think so outside of some scandal. As long as they still make money and don't totally wash out or get caught screwing up NCAA-wise, I think he's safe because he's controllable by the PTB. However, if Jacobs is out, his seat gets much more uneven assuming they bring in someone who doesn't jive with Gustav.

We dont lose to Clemson.
We will lose at least two beginning with the slate that starts at LSU. MAY (stress may) beat LSU but if we do there will be a "what the blazing fuck?" loss to either arky or a&m.
Won't sweep UGA and Bama. Wish we would.

Loses at LSU and at home to the Turds.
I think we finally manage to beat Georgia. Not so concerned with Clemson early on without Watson.
Texas A&M might give us trouble.

I see 9-3 if we lose to Clemson and 10-2 to undefeated if we can beat Clemson. Losses coming to LSU, UGA, or UAT.
I'm like Chizad and feel that we have a good chance to beat Clemson especially taking considerations from last year in. They had an all-star QB and WR combo, and we played our Full Back at QB for some of the game. It ended with us having a chance to win in the end too.
If we beat Clemson, then I feel like we can go into the real Death Valley and beat LSU since they hired the bafoon Ed O as a coach, but we've only won there once in my lifetime so I could be completely wrong. The big away stretch of games worries me in October and I feel like we could drop one of those but I couldn't tell you which one. The UGA game has always been a thorn in Gus's side so I'll have that chalked up as a loss until Gus proves me wrong. If he does, then Jordan Hare will be a great atmosphere in the Iron Bowl to help us win that game.
This Auburn's year to win the SEC, it just all hinges on the Clemson game in week 2. If we beat them, there isn't a team on the schedule that we can't beat. That's exactly how you want it set up.

We're going to win them all. The only question is who will we skull drag in the playoffs. Gonna sit back and enjoy this season...and yes, we beat bama this year (mark it down). They are overrated and will be lucky to win 9.
