Title: Jerry Lewis Passes
Post by: Snaggletiger on August 20, 2017, 03:22:39 PM
at 91.  Some of the younger peeps on here really missed out on a true comedic legend.  His stuff was mostly outrageous and goofy, almost seemingly paving the way for Jim Carrey.  As a kid, you looked forward to trying to stay up all night and see if his Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy could break the previous year's record.

Never much cared for Lewis.  Dean Martin carried him.

Plus, I thought he died years ago.

They were a good pair.

As a kid, I enjoyed their movies on my 10" B&W TV.

I wasn't looking for an Oscar performance, just a laugh or two.

He used his celeb status for a great cause!
