One thing about PF that hasn't changed a bit. He absolutely bristles when he thinks Aluhbamma has been even remotely disrespected. He asked the guest what things surprised him about the poll. The guy said he thought Clemson was a little high at 5 with the loss of Watson and several others, but that was probably because they got 7 first place votes.

Finebaum: So 7 coaches think Clemson is better than Alabama? What coaches voted them #1? Are they dead? I know Dabo has a vote but even he's smart enough to know Clemson's not better than Alabama.

Well Paul , I think it's just some coaches with an old school mentality. You're the champ until somebody dethrones you.

PF: There can't be any coaches in their right minds that think Clemson is better than Alabama. So, they've got Ohio State #2 over FSU. Doesn't that surprise you?

No. not really. I think they're interchangeable. In fact, I think OSU may wind up being the best team in the country by the time it's all said and done.

PF: So, you think OSU is better than Alabama? You're going to need to explain that one.

Well, Urban Meyer thinks this may be his most talented team yet. And...
