Connery was best, but Moore was "my" Bond growing up watching those movies. He was better than some of the scripts they handed him and always did it with class.

Wow councillor...while I applaud you for being bold enough to put yourself out there, I think you stand on that perch alone.

Craig is a good Bond, probably my second favorite honestly.  However best Bond argument as of today 2017 still begins and ends with Sean Connery.  Moore to me comes in at #3.

Was kinda thinking

1 Connery
2a and 2b Moore and Craig

8 Brosnan

Bronsan wouldn't have been as bad if the pricks writing the script would have written something decent.

My reason with Craig over Moore, is simply because Moore always seemed to be too old for the role to me.  Even though I though he did a great job in the role.

Actually agree. Poor Brosnan got a bad draw.

I stand by it.  He's truer to the character: conflicted, wounded, complex.  The others were martini soaked party boys.

It was odd because he was already The Saint.

Connery embodied the role. The role was NOT a 2010+ role. And Connery played it perfectly.

The original Bonds were neither "wounded" or "conflicted".  They were martini drinking, smooth talking, pussy getting, evil guy shooting bad asses.

Right.  Which is not the way Fleming wrote the character.

Fleming Schmeming.  I just want to know if Bond ever tapped Ms. Moneypenny on her desk.

He should take that up with the broccoli's.

I didn't read the books. Don't give a rats ass about the books. I saw Dr. No and knew that SC as Bond was the original badass. I bet you think I'm alone...

This scene alone makes Sean tops.

Craig is solid number #2 but nothing tops "man talk".

There is nothing "Bondish" about Craig at all. His movies are without style, panache or flair.

If Connery is the Ali of Bonds, Moore was the Sugar Ray.  Craig?  Buster Douglas. Or Gerry Cooney.
