Title: The final rank

Positives:
Finished the season in the Top 25.  At 24.  The only five-loss team in the rankings.  Of our five losses, one came to the number one team, one came to the number two team and one came to a Top 5 Oklahoma.

I guess that's respect?  Dropped seven spots after losing to Oklahoma -- which jumped up to fifth.

Negatives:
LSU, whom we beat, finished 13th.  Georgia was not ranked.  Nor was Texas A&M.   In fact, other than LSU, none of the eight teams we beat were ranked in the final poll. None. 

Eight wins were, perhaps, a mirage.

Or, you could say the 8 teams we beat weren't ranked because we beat that ass so bad.


Okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch.
