Can't stand dabo. So the immediate elation of watching the Death Star implode was almost instantly tempered by a sense of ehhhhh.
Some things I noticed tonight:
1) Reuben Foster is a sub human thug.
2) every officiating crew is apparently primed to ignore bama holding. The takedown on jalen hurts scoring run was particularly offensive.
3) Watched the "homer" alternate broadcast because Clemson seemed to be playing better when I was. Barrett Jones is an absolute douche. A punk asshole and the living embodiment of why I hate everything about that shit caked school and its fans. He's a piece of shit.
4) The excuses started early. Pick plays!! Waaaahhh. If Scarborough hadn't gotten hurt we would have won by three TDs! Bwaaaa hoo hoo. Lane Kiffin woulda done better! Sniff.
5) jalen hurts is a mirage. A phony. I'm not impressed and never have been.

Not much to say about Alabama other than they are still the team to beat.
Not a fan of Dabo but he and his staff have exceeded what most would have predicted after 2010. Pains me to admit, but since 2010 they have outperformed us in almost every aspect as a program...and this at least IMO after modeling it similarly to our Championship year under Chizik.

I love how the bammers cry about the play they've done countless times before. Also, I love telling them that the second pick play should've been flagged...letting them go on a 5 second rambling...then interrupting them with, should've been flagged for defensive holding (the DB basically tackled the receiver during his route). They usually go with the, what about the other "obvious" pick play. I tell them that since the receiver turned towards the QB and called for the ball to be thrown to him, it was a legal play.

I hate that lizard/weasel/turtle faced Dabo so much that it's squeegeeing away any schadenfreudian joy I gleaned from those thuggish twat cakes getting their hearts ripped out.
Knowing that the "I'm warein urrange, but I's still a bammer in mah hart" fucktard gets to smugly strut around and claim God loved him so much He produced a national championship (shades of Chizik) makes me nauseous. His belligerent post-game conference was obnoxious. The way he bellows everything into the microphone makes me want to punch him in the throat.
I don't hate Clemson, never have. But I LOOOOOOOATHE Dabo. He's nothing but a turd in a bad disguise. Can't stand him.
I do find it hilarious that those crimson punks have the audacity to bitch about the officiating and whine that the refs were against them.

I do find it satisfying that Reuben Foster is so dumb, he didn't even seem to be aware they'd lost. He just looked confused.
I also find it a condemnation of American society as a whole that in a few months that street level thug with the IQ of a drunken gnat will be awarded an assload of money by the NFL for little more than being a violent punk.
Finally, while I still think Saban is a lying, cheating devil his post-game comments were fairly laudable. He said something I think Gus Malzahn should pay particular attention to:

I know it's something he's been saying since probably 2012 or before, I know it's part of his cliched coach-speak, but it struck a chord last night.

Barrett Jones. He was paired with Joe Tessitore on the Homer Broadcast on ESPN. Even Joe was tired of his stupid, inane, moronic ass. There are no words for how insufferable he was.

Our local sports talk host, former Bama beat writer, said some of the penalties, like jumping off sides etc. late in the game, were due to fatigue and immaturity. The last caller I heard told the host he was immature for not griping about the pick play.
I didn't get it, but I still laughed anyway.

I know I was not an objective set of eyes, but damn...I saw at least 7 missed calls (one on their first TD) that helped them get the 14 point lead in the first place. That last play was borderline, but the bama defender held him as soon as he stopped to
make the pick reach out for the ball too.
Side note: I never knew that violent means dirty as hell. I need to get a better dictionary.

I really thought I'd feel better than I do. I like Watson (sick of the "he better than Cam" comments from the bammturds, but still). I have no real animosity toward Clemson, but I hate that Bammer douche coach.
I thought we should have beaten Clemson this year but in a way I'm glad we didn't because they were really the only team out there with a legitimate chance of beating the best team Chargers can buy. I'd hate for the fourth entry in that mix to have been Penn State or Michigan because either of those teams gets caveman clubbed.

Stragedy question. I heard one of the national talk show guys ask the question this morning if it would have been wiser for Bama to just tackle everyone on the last play or two? Just walk up to the line and take everyone down. Was done a couple of times in the NFL this year.
A game can't end on a defensive penalty, but wouldn't that force Dabo to make the ultimate decision? One play to win it all or go ahead and tie it with a FG.

Happened in the 49ers-Saints game this year. Difference is that the Saints play was about 20 yards from the endzone. If Bama tried to hug the receivers, Watson walks in for a touchdown.

The MNC's the last 7 years have been, Bama, tOSU, FSU and Auburn. Clemson beat all of them this year alone. I think one of the big COY awards went to the 4-loss Colorado coach. I'm as big a Dabo fan as Kaos, but that's some mighty fine corchin' right there.
