1st drive...scripted, looked sharp and crisp (hitting on all cylinders). I guess the offense focused only on those plays for 45 days, because the rest of game was garbage. No offensive adjustments, couple that with a QB made out of glass (broke his arm on that first drive) and a worn out defense in the 3rd qtr. That's a long night.

The offense moved well when White was healthy and throwing the ball a bit. Even later in the game, there were some opportunities. We have 2-3 incredibly talented true freshman receivers. Our offensive line and running backs will be strong.
If Stidham lives up to the hype, we could have a 10 win season, which is what I think Gus will need to save his job. He has to prove he's a better coach than Coach O, lame-duck Bielema, and lame-duck Sumlin. He has to prove he can beat Georgia. He can lose to Dabo and Saban, but he can't lose to Missouri, Ole Miss, or Mississippi.

There is entirely too much talent on defense for us to get pushed around like that. I don't claim to be able to coach but it sure didn't appear that we were in good positions all night. And we let that QB, who is good, look way better than he is. He should've been prone more often.
Even with our O playing well, I think we would've been beat last night with that D.
I give Steele credit for a lot of the turn around but I'm waiting to see us perform consistently at the level we should. I'm not sold yet.

Acceptable - Losing to Alabama. Everybody did and we looked no better or worse than anybody else in getting railroaded by the roid rage cheaters.

Georgia with a rookie coach is my barometer. We butt heads against them in recruiting and no team from the East should OWN us. Lose to UGA, you're done.

And that was a dumb move by Sean. He's made of glass. That's partly why Stidham is here now. It is what it is. But K addressed a bigger concern. After someone goes down and/or after the scripted plays have ended, Gus looks like a fuckin buffoon with no clue. That has to stop. And I'm not sure it's going to. If true, then I'm ready for his ass to be gone after next season. I'm just tired of it.
We don't ask for a natty yearly like the mouth breathers. Just some consistency and decent play. He can't even do that.

Not gonna' disagree with much of what's been said, especially on the QB situation. A few observations, none of which are intended to be excuses.
We got the worst draw of any team this bowl season. OU righted the ship after a rough start and was probably the hottest team in the nation, especially on offense.
Our D got gashed like no other point in the season. However, your offense has to help you out at least a little bit. The second White went down, no help was given. (See no back up and inept coaching mentioned above)
I can't recall a worse officiated game in recent memory. Both sides got jobbed but they reserved the worst anal for Auburn in the 4th. Where do I begin? Naaa...won't go there. Okay, maybe a brief mention of intentional grounding, or the lack thereof.

He doesn't get it whether he does what he did or whether he does the safe slide. I had more issue with him thinking he could outmuscle two safeties more so than the run itself. It was 4 down territory anyway and we got it. So I just hate that he did it. He can't do that. Not playing qb.

Defense looked like "who cares anymore" in the second half. I mean when you have an offense that consistently keeps you on the field without more than three points on the board, and more often than not just punting the ball, then you just get tired and give up. That's what it looked like in the second half, they just gave up and didn't even try.
