Title: Ole Miss Hate Thread 2.0
Post by: The Six on October 24, 2016, 02:18:45 PM
They are 3-4 coming off a straight up whipping in Baton Rouge.

They have blown more leads than Tori Spelling.

They are QB'd by a stripper magnet tornado turnover thrilling throw machine.

They are cheaters documented NCAA rule breakers.

They have no running game to speak of.

They are coached by a Beaver with no facial hair.

They have hot women at the school.

They going down? Vegas started with them favored but the betters have moved the line Auburn's way.

What say youins? Does Auburn keep marching forward on a renewed path of destruction? Or does the Gus Bus hit a bumpy backroad in Oxford?

Mark down a 60+ point victory for the good guys.

Will do exactly the same thing on the ground we just did to the hogs. Maybe worse.

I like the boldness, Chizad. That's one hot take.

Auburn has the no. 3 rush offense in the country.

Ole Miss has the worst run defense in the SEC.

Take Auburn and the points. Bet the mortgage.

Bet the house.

I tend to agree.  OM's defense is suspect, particularly vulnerable to our strength to boot.  They are one-dimensional offensively and that dimension just took a huge kick to the nuts against the strength of our defense.

Barring unforeseen chaos...they furked.

The ONLY thing making me wonder WTF Vegas knows that we don't is that line being so goddamn low.

Last week everyone was saying Auburn + 9.5 was INSANE given that Arkansas was ranked above us etc. etc.

A three point spread seems criminal to me, but that's exactly what worries me. They don't like to throw away money, so I don't get it.

Vegas makes mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. You just did. Lines move. This one will. Bet early.

Those last two words.  This will move a lot.  Buy low...sell high. Fear? That's the other guy's problem.

KJ is back. And true to form they will probably start him and give him the bulk of the carries. We will struggle and then try to ride SW's arm. Some time in the second half they will decide to go with Pettway and we will get really close. I think we will be lucky to get by on a FG.

Or, somebody is paying attention to what we have going on and we go with Pettway till the defense is a bloody stump and then hit them with KJ. It will be interesting to see what the coaches decide.

I'd go with The Deisel, sprinkle in Truitt, KJ & Kam Martin here and there. We're going to need KJ to be 100% healthy. Hell, I might even rest him for this game, unless we need him.

was that the opening? or are they betting it that way? Hard to fathom that but tend to agree with LT and Wes - not thinking it will stick. People will be all over that.

Would like for Game Day to be in Oxford with Gus hallucinating and seeing Freezie boy in a Houston Nutt mask. In the name of Tommy Tuberville the football gods and all that is holy, let's beat the brakes off of these cheating-assed pretenders and finish them off like we should have decades ago.

I kind of wonder if this is 100% true when it comes to Vegas.

Gus has an issue with evaluating talent and a tendency to overthink strategy. Losing KJ to injury forced Gus to simplify the running game, which turned out to showcase just what our o-line and bulldozer can do.

This is a concern.

Kadreel. Kodi. Moseley. Johnson.
Took forever to figure out Mason was the man. And Tate.
Had there not been injury and defection?  We'd never know what Kam can do.
Subbed CAM out in early games.

Up to 4 1/2 on Sportsbook.  Hope I win enough to get the GI Joe with the kung fu grip.

I won't argue with any of this, esp his qb evals.

But, at least he made necessary changes that we may never be aware of with other coaches.

In other words, Gus isn't scared to try something new, although he has been late to the party a few times.

Dude I hope you have started giving her the shots in her mouth.  I don't want see a new series like the Duggers

I'm more concerned about Kelly than Allen because he has more talent around him to work with.

If he gets the ball out quickly, our front won't matter.

If I have to pick a susceptibility, it's the pass.

When front 7s have gotten close to him, he tends to throw the ball to the other team a lot.

I hear you. But they cannot live off of timed slants the whole game. But I do think that will hurt us some. Not sure if it will be enough though!
