Alabama LB Tim Williams was arrested on Thursday morning. Williams was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, but marijuana was also found in the car.

Williamsâ€™ friend took responsibility for the drugs, but said he was only holding them for a friend named â€œBrandon Chicken,â€ according to Stephanie Taylor of The Tuscaloosa News:

Williams, whose status for this weekendâ€™s Kentucky game has yet to be determined, was not charged with marijuana possession in the incident.
