Bama the only loss I see in that stretch. Why? 18 starters back. Damn good QB and a 240 lb RB returning. Coming into this season riding a blowout bowl win. Josh Dobbs is fo realz. What's not to like about UT?.

I'll give you the RBs with Hurd and Kamara, but Dobbs isn't the fucking answer. He's Brent Schaeffer with a better defense. Folks in DOT orange are not going to enjoy the precipitous drop from 9 to 30-something.
In fact...I'll lay a wager on the App State opener with ya. Line is 20 at the MGM...gimme 14.

Dodd threw for 15and 5. He rushed for 855 yards. Jalen Hurd ran for 1, 285 yards. D gave up 20 a game. AU hasn't come close to that defensive number since CTT. 18......18 returning starters.
They could run Hurd 40 timesand win by 30. UT rolls.

I've seen several "experts" and polls that have them in the top 5 and in the playoff. The one guy on cbs sports has them winning it all over fsu.

There was one play where Fleshy got sacked by the nose guard...who pancaked the center. Pancaked his ass. I saw one UT lineman try to seal off a linebacker and I swear I heard him apologize. Other than the nose guard, Appy didn't have a single player over 245 lbs. on D.
How do those same players take Oklahoma, Bama and Florida down to the wire and put on a shit show like that?

This might have been their version of our Jacksonville State. A very inauspicious beginning which leads to questioning the Vol interior line play (both sides) for well over a half.

What I was telling snags earlier. Maybe we have hope. Weirder things have happened.
Went down to tiger walk an hour or so ago. Got at the beginning by the athletic complex and got a great spot on the front line. The players looked relaxed but dialed in. Great spirit. Oh and Monstrocity Adams is yugggee.

I think the players were fine. It's the offensive coaching. Or namely just two of them.
Players play. Coaches coach. I liked the spunk from our front 7 last night. As K said, haven't seen that since latter game of 2010. We actually had a middle linebacker. It was nice.
