Title: Theater or Crack in the Foundation?
Post by: wesfau2 on July 14, 2016, 08:13:17 AM
So is the Fbaum/Saban "drama" staged or has the worm turned, allowing Fbaum to start turning the media tide on Saban?

We all know/suspect that Paul gets his marching orders from the AD's office at UAT: he orchestrates support and/or disdain for the current coach, depending on the school's desire (see, for example, Mike Shula).  Has something seismic happened to earn Paulie the green-light to start turning public opinion?

No. He's going to continue licking Saban's ballsack.

I saw the aftermath of that.  Saw two or three ESPN fucks going "why are you being so mean, Paul, don't these players deserve a second chance..."

The problem with this whole situation is that Malzahn was almost immediately asked about the four players who were charged with misdemeanor possession.  NOBODY asked Saban about the two players who were charged with felonies and who had the charges dropped when the DA said some shit about them working out in the sun while we sat around in AC.  Nobody even brought it up.  Afraid to.  And that's a problem.

Catch a brotha up.  Did Finebaum have the audacity to question Lord Saybinz?

I think he accidentally used teeth.

It appeared to be a spirited and one sided conversation.

The question remains, why were the players not charged?

Saban mentioned no law broken regarding the gun, if I understood correctly. Wasn't it the one that was stolen?

Paul at least had the guts to address it, unlike most in his profession.

This is all bull hockey. Media Days is a joke and pointless. Ignore all of that mess and you will be happier.

My bookface feed blew up yesterday with this.  I finally broke down last night and watched the supposed "behind the scenes" video that happened between on-air sets.  You couldn't hear anything that was being said.  Another masterful job by the media to turn everybody's head away from a real issue to something made up.  Bra.  Vo.

It looks like Mike Raita finally has a seat in saban's dinghy.

I believe Finescums marching orders are to make money. He is drama pure and simple and plays to it perfectly. You might as well be watching a soap opera.

Far be it from me to stick up for Finebong.  Not really doing that here but I have to admit, whether it's for ratings, drama or whatever, he's actually asking some questions that most of the sheep are scared to ask.  And he's called out Mullen, Freeze and Saybinz this week.  (If you want to call that "Calling Saybinz out")

The one I want to punch in the larynx is Joey Galloway. Why is his Big 10 punk ass even covering this event? Yesterday, PF just came out and admitted what we've all been saying.  He said when Ole Miss started racking up in recruiting, there were a lot of coaches etc. around the league and country that were saying they're cheating.  Galloway chimes in with, "The whole country thinks ALL the SEC teams are cheating".

May be.  But fuck you!
