It seems like it's a foregone conclusion that Ole Miss is about to get rammed up the ass by the NCAA. Other than the exposure of the issue during the NFL draft, how is the Ole Miss story any different than what has gone on at Alabama over the past decade?
You could put a mirror in front of Ole Miss and see Alabama's reflection. Social media and coaches and boosters. Agents. Taking care of players' families. All of it. It's all there with both programs.
Never mind. Forget I brought this up. It's not worth getting worked up over.

Best thing you've ever posted. With...all...due...respect. Try the Yahoo Network exposing Miami and Devin Shapiro. NCAA came in with guns a blazin'. Problem was, they shot themselves in the foot with those guns. Yahoo exposes Bama and DJ Fucker with iron clad evidence. Damn the system. Fucker is a prime example of why we should be paying these poor players. Not even a phone call from Emmert.
The last time (3 decades ago) Auburn got popped for NCAA violations, it was because coaches made an "unsecured loan" to Eric Ramsey. Let a coach loan money to Ha Ha and not even a phone call. Let a coach be released for "recruiting violations." Not even a phone call.
You do the math.

That is completely or 95/100ths correct

My memory is hazy with malted hops and bong resin, but the coaches called a friendly bank and "facilitated" the loan, no?
Totally different situation, though no less prohibited by the rules, than a coach handing over a fat stack of cash.

You're probably right. But if your memory is hazy, it's because you were 3 then.

How is Tunsil any different than HaHa Clinton-Dix or Fluker?
He doesn't/didn't play for the Tahd.

Don't forget about Marcell Dareus.

Also that several Bama coaches have been "handled internally" and forced to resign for paying players.

Not giving enough has its consequences too.

In all seriousness, it's about throwing them on the sword so they can say they "handled it internally" and keep on cheating with immunity.

Not much can be done when those in charge look the other way or just flat out condone it.

The ONLY difference is that they are allowed to handle things "internally." Imagine what would happen if Hugh Freeze came out and said "We've reviewed this internally and the punishment has been settled. You will know what it was when you see it."
