Such a shame to sequester those golden droplets of goodness. Let them socialize with some delicious Coke product.

You just have not tried good ones.

That's the same line used by everybody who's ever tried to insist to me that the donkey piss they are swilling is "awesome"
The only thing I can even barely tolerate is Stella. And only one of those if I absolutely have to.
I've tried the crafts, the local brews, the micros, a dozen or more major brands. Stuff named after presidents. Pumpkin flavor.
It all tastes like deviled ass. Every bit of it.

Maybe that's why you are so uptight?

I use beer in some of my bbq sauce recipes, NOLA BBC shrimp recipe, smoked drunken chicken, etc. I don't consume the alcohol. Just love what it does in recipes.

I think I speak for all of us when I say "thank god for that"

So don't drink it. Or are you still exploring the notion it should be made illegal?

I don't. It should be illegal just on the basis that I don't like it.
Speaking of, did you see the deal where Dre Kirkpatrick sent a bunch of tweets after a drunk friend of his crashed a car and killed some people.
The gist of the tweets were "I knew I shouldn't have let him drive, I knew he wasn't in any condition to get behind the wheel..."
I'm no lawyer, but I've known some. From my own past experience, it's my opinion that those tweets can make Kirkpatrick eligible to be a) charged with reckless indifference and b) sued by the family of the deceased.
True?

Well, that will get rid of a lot of movies.

True?
Unlikely. Unless Dre is the guy's legal guardian or was serving him booze in a commercial setting (and had reason to stop serving him). Otherwise, dude is an adult and is owner of his choices.
JR can correct me if I'm wrong.
Also...for a guy who routinely rails on "them damn lawyers chasing ambulances" you sure are in a hurry to get more involved here.

I believe this would be correct. No duty to him or the general public otherwise.

Don't know where you get your information. I don't rail against lawyers. Wanted to be one before bad decisions and life in general intervened. Are there bad lawyers? Of course. Don't hate the profession and not a railer by any stretch.
Also not involved. Just observant. Was basing my question on my own experience. When my wife was killed the lawyer for her mother wanted to sue the drunk driver's mother and other people who had observed him in a state of intoxication. I found that unseemly and refused. I assumed there was potential liability. Not necessarily criminal but perhaps civil.

Naw. Thart'd be me.
Damn roaches and lawyers...only thing left after nuclear war! :moon:

Apparently some people can't tell the difference between older white patriotic men. We all look alike.
