I know he was a bammer. But he brought a lot of attention to ALS. Its a terrible disease.
Passed away shortly before noon.
Say a prayer for his family.
Godspeed Kevin.

Weird, A guy I went to high school with passed away this morning. You really start seeing your own mortality when guys your age that you know start moving on. This guy was a bammer too.

Something along the lines of "Bad day for bammers" good day for the rest of us?

Hate that for anyone. I've known several people with ALS. Two passed on fairly quick. The other has been battling the hell out of it for the better part of a decade. As soon as he found out, he stayed in the gym daily, doing if nothing else, riding the stationary bike. Last time I saw him, he was confined to one of those little scooter thingies. As bad as this sounds, I almost wanted to avoid him the last few times I saw him because one of the last things that disease robs is your speech. He wants to talk to you but can barely form the words.
Anyway, horrible disease. Sorry about the loss, CCT.

I fully support ALS ...infact I pour ice over my whiskey every night as a sign of support.
