Jesus fucking Christ. Run Stewart on first down ever fucking series. Gain two or less. Let Denver tee the fuck off on second and third down.
Rinse. Repeat. Lose.
FUCK Shula.

Yep. I thought Gus was calling the plays for the Panthers tonight.
-
Combination of a lot of things. Shula..O-line...receivers...Cam.....refs...Denver D.
Carolina D did it's job. Errant passes, dropped passes, fumbles, horrible play calling and the O-line getting it's collective shit pushed in. Broncos offense had nothing. Unfortunately, the Panthers had even less.
Aaaaand penalties. Lots and lots of penalties.
Overall, one of the worst Super Bowls I've ever watched. If I didn't have a huge interest in Cam getting the win or Peyton going out a winner, I'd have turned to NCIS by half time.
-
I had to take s shot every time Denver score. And every penalty on Carolina. My friend had to do the opposite. I am a little wobbly like a manning duck pass. My friend is dry.
-
I never seen anybody hate to lose more than Cam. His sulking press converence it hilarios.
He shoudl have not talkd to anybody raithr that do what he did, really, though. He mad.

That was my point in the other thread. I don't think people would care as much about his celebrations if he didn't act like that when things don't go his way.

Well I fucking get it. It's how I feel. too. I fucking hate to lose. I fucking hate it. I don't fee like being mangmanious. Fuck that. The fucking questins they aske him were stupid as fuck fucking fuck anyhow. Fuck sitting there nad being nice and shit. I'm a piss off when I lose too and would do ethe asm thing.
I hate horse elways too. Fuckhole. he look like Jay Jacobs ate a motherfucking horse and tried to squeeae it out his mouth.
-
I'm guessing Shula didn't watch any of the top ranked defense of Denver's while preparing for them. Having Cam sit in the pocket on every pass play while Von Miller and Demarcus Ware blow right passed the Tackles...yeah, no need to call for rolling the pocket or having Olsen chip the end and rolling Cam out of there....nope lets just call a dive play into the strength of the Denver defense with Stewart or Tolbert on first down, then a two yard swing pass on second down...then have the Denver defense tee off on Cam on third. Yeah, great game plan Shula, you fucking moron.
I was yelling at the TV, just let Cam play backyard ball. I'm proud of the Panthers for getting to the Super Bowl with a average at best OL, RB & WR corps. Give Cam a little better OL and a real WR threat opposite Kelvin Benjamin...they'll be right back in the hunt next year.
-
I hope Cam wend intot he locker room and punch shula in the face about eleven motherfucking times.
Fourteen fucking Times Shula call that same shitty run on first down. Fourteen!
Fuck Shula. He can die in a frire.

YOU are not the NFL MVP. YOU are not the NFL O player of the year.
I love Cam, but grow the eff up little boy!
That was embarrassing!

YOU lost K?? Serious? "YOU" did? Jesus H, you sound like uncle rico again.
His lack of awareness in the pocket was shameful. Twice he had the ball knocked out blindly. That's on him. Have the awareness to either take off or throw it away when pressure is coming. You guys can blame Shula all you want but Cam had his mishaps too and they were fatal blows. The whole Damn offensive side of the ball did. Fumbles, ints, dropped passes, penalties, no blocking by anyone, no picking up blitzes, you name it.
Sometimes you just get your ass kicked. Miller and Ware were unblockable. Wade Phillips called a hell of a game. Hats off to them.
Im just glad we don't act like bammers about football games, calling for death and going ballistic....wait
-
Unfortunately, the two things that are going to stick out on top of the entire O's bad outing are the press conference and Cam not going after that last fumble. The announcers took him to task. Even Ronnie Brown twatted something to the effect of Come on, man. This is the Super Bowl. You gotta' go after that.
The frustrating thing is it was sooo there for the taking. Either Denver had zilch on offense or the Panther D was just that good. Either way, how many opportunities did they have to take that game? HashtagFrustration
-
I knew Shula had nothing meaningful prepared when he called the dumbfuck reverse throw-back that Ginn was astute enough to just eat rather than force the throw to Cam.
That said, the Denver defense won that game on their own merit. Ball security and field position were the difference.
Really wanted to see Cam get his first ring, but not upset at all to see Manning go out on top.

Wade Phillips did what Johnny in the old Charlie Daniels song said, "But sit down in that chair right there and let me show you how it's done."
By the way, Cam is one of ours but we all know how we feel about the way AJ McCarron punked out at the end of the Iron Bowl '13. Cam needs to grow up and the Panthers need a vet on that team (like they had with Steve Smith) to help him with that.
Also, might have helped if Michael "Blind Side" Oher had decided to block once or twice.
-

Have you ever noticed how after a few drinks Kaos' writing is worse than almost anything Dallas has ever written?

Oh hell. It wasn't just Oher. #74 was a turnstyle also. That defense was just BADASS last night.
But even with that, they had their chances. I felt the biggest difference was that we finally see that Cam is throwing the ball to guys that "might" make it as #3 receivers on any other team. MIGHT!
The drops were horrible. Get a few of those catches cleanly and Carolina moves down the filed and scores TDs. Then the big MO would stay with them. Not having any NFL type receivers killed them!

1) I was hammered.
2) I wasn't talking about losing THAT game. Was referring to my own life. When I played baseball I hated to lose. Softball, hated to lose. When I coached, I hated to lose. Losing ate at me. When I lost to somebody I tried to figure out what I'd done wrong and make sure I never did it again. Yeah, I realize I learned from losing and it was part of the process of making me a better player and a better coach, but...... I. Fucking. Hated. It. I wasn't the best interview after a losing game. I didn't want to talk to anybody. I was one of those who would go right back out after the game and either practice what I'd fucked up or start looking at film to figure out what I could do better. So I was saying I understand where Cam was mentally after that game. He was mad. He had reasons to be mad. Mad at himself. Mad at the sucky effort his teammates gave. Mad at the SHITTY gameplan. And did you notice that the question that got him off the podium was whether he blamed his teammates? He wasn't going to answer that and shouldn't have been asked.
3) Shula called a run into the teeth of the Denver defense FOURTEEN motherfucking times on first down. I looked it up. Fourteen. That's 14 second and 9's. The worst part of it is that Shula made ZERO second half adjustments. His gameplan was horrific and his ability to adjust was even worse. So fuck Shula.
4) I'm sick of the "Cam didn't dive after the ball" bullshit. Because it's just that. Bullshit. Cam believes he can work miracles. If you watch that play closely, he heads for the ball, starts to dive, realizes that the ball is going to be hit by the two already on the ground, tries to change directions to pick it up and then dives after it when it gets punched away harder than he expected. So Phil Simms and Jon Gruden and all the other fucks who are pissing and moaning about that can go fuck themselves with bear bryant's goalpost. They can go to hell.
5) 28-27 is apparently the most painful score in the history of college football. The bama glee at Carolina falling apart is nauseating. This Carolina loss won't take that away no matter what they think. Fuck them too.
-
Have you ever noticed how after a few drinks Kaos' writing is worse than almost anything Dallas has ever written?
Shot for every Carolina penalty, shot for every Denver TD. So...
1, 2, .... 13, 14.....
I though I was pretty coherent.
BTW, I started this thread before the fourth quarter. I was blaming Shula before halftime and definitely after the first series of the third quarter.
I told one of the people with me that if Carolina ran off tackle on the first play of the third quarter, we could change the channel to Lifetime or Food Network or something. And, right on cue... Stewart left tackle for no gain. I knew at that moment the game was lost.
-
With every LB on the field blitzing every play, why no short crossing route?
Also, same situation with bump and run, and not automatic fade?
Yeah. I was yelling at the TV too.
And then the bamturds all come out and say Shula called a pretty good game? WTH!
-
Have you ever noticed how after a few drinks Kaos' writing is worse than almost anything Dallas has ever written?
Kaos makes a terrible fake drunk.
-
Call any play that you want, but when your OL can't block it won't matter.

They are set to get a left tackle, safety and a wide receiver by what I have read.
-

Some sprint outs might help to loosen them up. They were one drive away for three entire quarters and played into Denver's hands on every series. And the fuck ups were almost on cue.
-

FUCKING THIS.
The other thing he's getting raked over the coals for.
https://vine.co/v/i1vW9AajAKY
Pretty obvious when you watch the play without assuming he's intentionally throwing the game because...reasons...?
-
He was sullen and hurt and disappointed in the press conference. I get that.
Here's something else you didn't know.
Before the post-game stuff he usually showers, gets dressed and has time to get himself together. He had barely gotten off the field and the NFL brass came and dragged him to the media stage. No shower, still in pads and cleats. Here, put on this hoodie thing and let's go.
Normally he's an hour or more coming out. Last night they gave him 15 minutes. And people are bitching about what he was wearing.
Fuck.
-
Why is it that when Saban acts like a first class asshole in a press conference (or Bellichek does) they're praised for it? When either one of them stalks out of a conference or berates a reporter, everybody chuckles and talks about their competitive fire?
Cam is rushed to the podium before even getting a chance to take a shower and he isn't happy. He's the worst human being ever.
I was in a press conference once where Gene Stallings verbally assaulted a female reporter. Called her a useless bag with tits, asked if she'd ever seen a football before in her life and told the rest of the people in there that if she opened her goddamn mouth one more time he wasn't going to answer another question the rest of the year. Yeah, her question was a little dumb, but he went all vein-popping hulk on her. Nobody said shit about that.
Maybe he could/should have acted differently. I don't care. I understand that aching desire to win that he has and that drives him. If you drag me in front of a bunch of reporters after my team lost the state title and before I have a chance to meet with my team and get over it a little when I was coaching in high school? My interview would have probably been as bad as that or worse. I have NO problem admitting that I'm a sore loser. Fucking hate losing. I hate the opposition in the moment. Hate their guts.
It's part of the reason I'm still in business after 12 years, though.
-
Kaos makes a terrible fake drunk.
Should have been more drunk than I was. 14 or 15 shots of tequila in a little over four hours. Should have been crawling but was just a little "rantish"
I figured Denver would score twice and carolina would have three or four penalties. Figured Carolina would score four times and haft two or three penalties so it would even out.
Didn't expect 12 penalties.

Which is why you roll the god damn pocket, chip the end to the side you're rolling to and keep a FB in the backfield to block anyone that gets through...or you roll your QB out, again chipping the end to the side that he's rolling to. You don't continue calling dive plays. Also, passing on first down would've helped too.
-
This is what I was thinking the entire second half. Well some of it anyway.
-
ESPN reported that Denver has never lost a game officiated by that referee.
The no-catch call was egregious. So was the failure to call interference on several passes where Ginn was clearly wrapped up well before the ball got there.

The NFL's answer would be "It's not the DB's fault Cam has a slow release. Go Mannings!"

That is not "sensible", nor accurate - he congratulated Manning, who said Cam was very humble and gracious. mcdouche got went straight on to his horse,
