Title: Soar no more
Post by: Kaos on January 18, 2016, 10:54:30 PM
Glenn Frey of the Eagles (and Smuggler's Blues from Miami Vice) is dead.

The fuck.

This one hurts me.  The soundtrack of my life is primarily KISS, Earth Wind and Fire and The Eagles.  I cannot comprehend Glenn no longer being around.  Depresses me in a way I can't verbalize.  Fuck.

Granted, no one started a thread about it.

But Frey is just as, if not more thread-worthy as any of them.  This one is out of the blue.  Had the good fortune of seeing the Eagles twice.  Sooooo...much great music and Frey was a founding member.

Saw them on the Hell Freezes Over Tour.  Was sort of disappointed actually.  Ran through Hotel California way, way early and never left the stools the entire set.  Music was great, but the show... well... sort of dull.
