:bar: Here's hoping for our D to play its best game.
-
3 and out Auburn Fast
-
Defense held good there in the rz
-
Defense held good there in the rz
Just need the run game to keep them guessing, mix some pass in.
-
Oh yeah...we need to just avoid the redzone altogether and just score on long plays.
Pretty simple huh?
-
Even up 3-3
-
We came locked and loaded boys. Don't know how things shake out but I like the looseness on offense and how we are coming up on D.
We gained 174 on their vaunted asses last season after we shit the bed. We can do it again and we can force some turnovers too.
-
Ah, we are wasting the wide shit as a setup for inside stuff.
-
I think we've run the jet sweep 8 or 9 times already. They might be looking for it
-
Know it's only field goals but it's LEGATRON!
-
Seems like we have four or five guys calling plays...........depends on where we are.
-

Yeah I think it's just to draw them away a bit, keep em honest.
-
Robinson hasn't gotten warmed up good yet. We still have plenty left.
-
Which mental pygmy is calling the plays now.
-
Gus needs to keep rolling the dice.
BHam, Charlotte, who cares?
-

I'm not so down on the playcalling. Would have been nice for Ray to pass the marker on that third and nine though.
-
WTF? The punting team has more penalties than the defense. Bubble screens and 3 and outs.

C'mon man , keep your head up. We aren't supposed to be in it this thick according to those in the know. We are exceeding all expectations already.
-
Gotta love Boom.
-
That goddamned Robinson wants this!
-
That goddamned Robinson wants this!
I hope he doesn't get benched because "we like both guys" again.
-
I like where we are plus you gotta know we have some surprises.
-
LACES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Tha Count drops a pick six, Bammers kick another FG. 12-6 and they get the ball 2nd half.
-
And Alabama feels very fortunate to have the halftime lead with the way our Auburn Tigers have played.
-

They still have two turnovers in them.
-
We had the failed "pop pass: which JJ threw too hard but we have to have a couple more wrinkles prepared considering.
We have them on the ropes if we get this first stop of the second half.
Easy to say we drive it down their fucking throat but we have to have a few key completions to take the lead.
-
While I know where outsiders stand, we want the "W".
-
Can we give away that damn big screen and sound system?
-
Can we give away that damn big screen and sound system?
We can drop it on ISIS but that would be cruel.
-
Alright, we got our opening stop.
-
I don't care how much $$$ coach boom wants, pay the man to stay.
-
Someone wake Jovon up from his nap.
-
Someone wake Jovon up from his nap.
He hasn't been in there too much.
-
Ridley is the best they have.
-
Sigh...two or three times on that drive we let FratCoker punk us out of a sack and then we give up the big play.
-
:haha: Jason Smith does his own tip drill. :haha:
-
:haha: Jason Smith does his own tip drill. :haha:
Just another flip of possession and we are in this again.
-
When they really need a completion it's Ridley
-
19-13 headed to 4th. Can't complain about the D. They have been balls out today except for some lame tackling on a slow white dude.
-
Wait...only Bamer beat Bamer.
-
Comes down to two stops basically.
-
Bullshit late hit call
-
30 yard penalty
-
Will Muschamp is out of control
-
Will Muschamp is out of control
Either way, we have to have a TD drive. Then we have to make a stop and get in Legatron range for the win.
-
Ridley is still the guy we have to stop if we can slow down cro-magnon,
-
Cro-Mag has beat on us all night. Dude is a beast. He's not all world, but he's good
-

Yeah and that wee bit that Coker was able to muster scrambling a couple times beat us in addition.
-
2:46 to go.
Your move, Gus.
-
Great effort but not enough. Enjoy Birmingham.

If Auburn had played like that every game the whole season, the season would look totally different. Christ.

If your team plays like that in the playoffs, it's gonna be a short trip. Again.
-
Was a good day in Auburn. Lot of fun food and drink. Didn't get to the X gate. But had plenty beer. A better QB and some WRs that can catch and we make it a game.

I agree. OL has been spotty all season, and Coker just isn't that great. Defense is pretty fucking good though. I have to wonder how they will play next week versus UF. Henry's legs have to be dead by now. Coker and the OL are going to have to nut up and get it done thru the air IMO. Luckily UF has a pretty bad QB, so it should be interesting.

I concur. I think they will try and balance it more next week.

Pfft...you guys will beat UF by 30.

Without Henry.

Going to turn in my Tiger card.
For the first time in my life I didn't watch a single minute of the game. Not one single play.
Until some shriveled up bat in Kohl's bellowed "rawl TAAHD" at me while I was checking out did it even cross my mind.
As much as I hate to admit it, I felt so much better.
I will love Auburn first and hate Alabama second until the day I die, but I'm okay now without stressing over every play, every down, every series. Serenity now.

Going away from the run in the second half has me like

That and not giving Jovon the ball much...Not sure what we're saving him for, don't be surprised if he opts to the NFL after the Pizza Bowl.

There were a few times in the first half that you guys were moving the ball and running with success, and then would run some bullshit cute play that took a loss and put them behind the chains. Didn't understand that, but I wasn't complaining. Figured Malzahn would double down on the run in the second half but it went the complete opposite way. Can you imagine what would have happened had Saban done the same with Henry? Doesn't make sense.
I think that Malzahn needs to find someone to call the plays and run the offense if Lashlee can't do it. Or is it that Malzahn won't let him do it? I remember that they were talking about Lashlee being the OC and calling the plays but when they cut to the sideline, Malzahn is the one with a clipboard signaling in the plays. He should concentrate on the big picture of being the coach and let his people do what they were hired to do. From an outside perspective it just seems like he gets too wrapped up in the offense.

I never saw the shouting match between JJ and Jovon but we stopped them again on their first possession of the second half then ran five plays and punted on 4th and 1 from just outside midfield. And for some reason after the JJ-Smith triple- tip TD and behind 19-13, our braintrust decides to air it out.
The first pass of the fourth quarter was complete to Louis for 25 yards followed by two incomplete passes and then JJ was sacked for -9. PUNT
*At this point we get the late hit call and the Muschamp tirade for 30 yards.
Still only results in a FG at the 10 minute mark, but it makes it a two score game at 22-13.
The second possession of the fourth yielded five yards and another sack of JJ for -9. PUNT
From there it was over except the Turd's tack on a score to make those who bet on them happy.

Take mine with you. Really didn't watch much football at all this weekend. Except to watch Cam punk the boys.
The way the season has been going I just kinda felt that if they were in any kind of position to win gus would fuck it up somehow. He gets another year, but needs to beat lsu, uga and the turds next year or he needs to go away. The last three months have been such a let down, you can see the talent on the field, the problem is on the sidelines.
