Glad to see that SI is doing their part in perpetuating the "Bama is Back" curse.  Look for a loss in the Tide's future very soon.

I checked SI.com and it is real. It is going to be the Sept. 8 issue.

I was telling my dad Sunday that it would be funny if SI did another "Bama's Back" type cover, but I thought that would be too good to be true. I told my UAT friend about it and he just groaned.

SI newstand sales are taking a beating with the economy slowdown. This issue should help pull them out of the 'red' for 4th qtr 2008.

The marketing folks at SI aren't idiots. To hell with journalism, they have to put shit on the cover that sells magizines. And after seeing Forbes rake in crazy sells from the "hillbillies" in bama, SI will do the same. Expect more magazines to fleece the bammer sidewalk alumni in the coming months.
