It might mid 90's bad.
Idaho just called and wanted to know if we would play them for THEIR homecoming? We don't normally travel such distances but we will do our very best to play the unprepared buffoons that we are in order to make your homecoming a rousing success.
93 - 11-0Mark Richt numbers are hard to argue.
94 - 9-1-1
95 - 8-4 (outback bowl)
96 - 8-4 (Independence Bowl)
97 - 10-3 (peach bowl)
Your definition of bad is strange. Are you drunk?
98? yeah. That was bad.
99? 5-6.
I'd call that "late" 90s.

They look much better than 5-7 and 4-8, which is where we are headed.I know. Sad to admit but we look doomed with no direction.
Another positive is that we had no pass interference calls on us today!
Another positive is that we had no pass interference calls on us today!Thats because we didn't cover anybody

Not sure what to say but let me just say I took my Auburn shirt off before we went out for supper.....not watching the 4th qtr I might add. That was one of or the worse performances I have ever seen by Auburn. It's not that we lost, it's the way half the players played. I am probably one of the most hopeful, half glass full people you will meet. Today for the first time ever, I took my AU gear off to go out. The reason? Embarrassed of how AU played. This is not Auburn football. I saw starters purposefully missing plays and avoiding tackling. I saw an offense that looked like they have never played together before. Bright spots? Not many. Kerryon and Peyton, that's it.
Another positive is that we had no pass interference calls on us today!Don't think we registered a full body take down from our left tackle and never saw our OLB chase #7 into the stands.

Dang it fellers. We'll get 'em next year I guess, unless we don't. War eagle anyway.
Long season ahead of us I'd like you to show a lil more effort and put up some wins.
I've got figured out. CGM seems to be a QB killer. But he knows how to use an already developed QB.Yup, CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Every year, just as long as said QB doesn't stay "in the system" for the second year.
So we quit recruiting QBs and just pick up a new guy from JUCO every year!
The biggest problem I have with this whole thing is the lack of warning.
How could Malzahn not understand that the tank was empty? How could he think Jeremy Johnson was as good as he played him up to be? How could he take the pre-season expectations and not try to temper them?
Or did we just refuse to listen?
I still have faith in this staff but I wouldn't mind seeing Gus bring in a new OC who could help in the passing game. Maybe let the new guy work with WRs and move Craig to coaching QBs. Rhett brings absolutely nothing to the table.
Jay Jacobs does know there is a bottom to the barrel right? We keep dropping these $$$ for such a small return on our investment. IMHO, buying out this coach(es) is not the solution, at least not right now.
I enjoy watching Prosch and Newton in the same game. Our program produces, it's just the coaches are not producing to it's full potential.
Mainly because if you put '10 and '13 aside, his offense still averages 31 ppg while HC/OC at Auburn. That's with the likes of Todd, Trotter, Moseley, and Johnson playing QB. Give the guy a playmaker at QB and he has shown the ability to lead Auburn to the SEC title and NC game multiple times in his brief tenure. Mainly with his offense alone. The main thing that scares me about Gus is he has yet to show he can develop a QB. That's the reason I think its time to cut ties with Rhett. Its not like he is calling plays as OC and if he can't develop a QB, why the hell are we paying him? Don't get me wrong. We are fucked this season more than likely. The reason I say more than likely is because I think alot of this years problems due to the prima donna attitude our players seem to have. Its going to be interesting to see if Gus can keep these guys from quitting like they did on Gene in 2012.
What gives you faith? Look at the years that gus has been successful, 2010, Can and senior laden team, 2013 nick marshall and trey manson, any other year unable to coach up. Without a horse to ride he is an 8-5 coach.

Given the track record of Gus and Will, unless we have a repeat of 2012, I'm giving them at least 2 more years. Shitty as we looked yesterday, I still think they will win at least 1 NC Championship while here. :bamahomer:
